I think I read somewhere that you run magnetic. Do you build your own with the 1k kit? or am I reading that wrong? Hell yeah 92 is cheap. I paid 98.98 for my Apollo digitial 400w MH/HPS. and its 86 for the ballast alone(I had plans of getting one before you said that.)
I'm doing ok right now with my heat(75-80 regularly). New intake blower i'm using is doing very well. Once I have the air cooled hood(sitting in the closet) up i'll be running the flex pipe for that one only. I am positive that my heat SHOULD stay the same with one air cooled and one not.(since i'm not using one now)

Thinking about getting 2 for the next grow gonna have to get some White Rhino to go with them.... lol

All you need is a 1k ballast kit and the wires that go to socket n bulb,From a 400 would be fine,and a plantmax bulb like 26buck.

Update: These 4 haven't rooted yet- Blue Thai came back to life - Cocoa Puffs sprouts YES ONLY 2, #3 withered away- Cotton Candy is growing perfectly- Here's half the tent that's being used at the moment- These 2 were just planted, Rooted Blue Dream clones- Here's the Spyders. Cups are for the contest and of the big ones, the bottom is male- Tied this bitch down!! THANKS BEECH!- How does she look???- Trainwreck got some color back- The 3 White 88 G13/Hashplant sprouts -

Yeah I know. finally got something to survive and look good doing it. those are 7 days old. cut last week on sunday.

so I'll cut 6-10 more in about 3 days or so. give her enough time to build some weight up on the lower branches so I can take all the tops. That'll be my final cutting of her. let her grow out while I run these autos and then once they are done i'll take a few more of everything(I'm cloning all my females as soon as they are ready) and flip the tent to 12/12 800w HPS.

minimum of 24 I think in the tent. May get larger. but I think with everything flowering in 3 gallon grow bags it'll be fine. even if the root bound mothers don't yield what I want, all the clones will. and the BD is in a 3.9 gallon right now. she'll stay there. may up to 7 but not sure at this point.

Thanks. Yeah I've lost a seed and a sprout this germ. and only 1 sprout last time. But nothing i'm too worried about because everything i lost i had a replacement for.

Keep checking back. should be starting 4 more strains this week. soon as they come in.
Gonna be photographing my breeding projects as well.

Ultimately, its not just the botany but the genetics that fascinate me as well. I hope to one day start breeding and manipulating phenotypes of my own. Keep us posted, I'm dieing to see how it turns out.

i want to order some, don't need them, but still want to. i have a problem.

lookin good bro ,a lot of branches means a lot more weed,i jus top out and let it go no pruning on some,,maybe i'll learn something from your LST.rdr.

My ac is actually fucked up. got a rigged indoor drip pan set up. for now.
ordering a protable for inside the tent. save myself some hassle and I can then use my intake as an exhaust fan lol.
Still leave the bottom flap open for fresh air circulation...

Dank, I think it was him, was telling me that the flaps have been known to cause herm from light leak so......
I originally had them all(minus one for intake) duct tapped closed. but I decided to buy Sticky-Back Velcro and rig it up that way.
Now I can seal them closed or stick them up open.......

Also anyone who has any answer at all for this please feel free....
This is not a dirty joke of any kind it's about my Spyder.
My balls are starting to turn but are still VERY small. How small can they be and still open up?
I have them OUT of the tent at the moment but not in a window.
they are blocked from any circulating air and under a florescent for now.
I need to know WHEN I can start plucking to collect pollen or if I should do the whole "Branch Thing"
with snipping, and putting into cups of water with foil on top to collect as they fall.
I don't wanna cup the branches TOO early though.
Anyone?

wen the nanners open up they start drying out ,in couple days they will dry to powder.once they open up yu can clip them and set them up ina cabinet or something and let them dry out to store it.but I was jus doin a couple branches at a time.rdr.

Just noticed this post sir sorry....
Yeah this is my first REAL attempt at this super cropping/lst thing.
I netted the last 4 I had but they were removed half way through and moved to an new apartment. lol.
moving with 3' plants is NOT fun.... I started topping/FIMing last grow. and plan to do a couple that way.
but I am going to just LST the Spyder fems and a couple others to start
. if they start getting much bigger i'll go ahead with the full bend of the "super cropping"......
Going to try a few different LST techniques too. with copper wire, twist ties, and the string I use now.....
Copper wire seems good for keeping a plant growing low, and pretty much just "ring around the stem" for a while until I think it's big enough to flip. lol.
