For me, it's a simple matter of seeing the leader of the free world's academic failures/achievements.

Up until this election cycle, i never knew that transcripts were not required. Just another way the whole thing is fucked up imo.

Who the fuck made you the judge of what other people deem important?

The color of Obama's skin has nothing to do with Americans wanting him to release his college records, it's the fact his father was not an American citizens and Barack himself grew up in a foreign country.

In my opinion, when you are hiring a person for the most important job in the free world, their college records are just as or more important than their tax records. If there was any kind of issues, I'm sure the IRS would have found something but who do we have to check college records?

And when you think about it, Obama could shut everyone up, including the republican party by releasing his college transcripts, I feel his is hiding something, otherwise he would have been done with it by now. I also feel, as a standing president, he is more obligated to share what the people have requested of him.

The truth is that nothing is required, not even a birth certificate. Had Obama not been president for 4 years I would have liked to see his transcripts as well, but his 4 years in office rendered that point moot. It has been tradition of late for presidential candidates to reveal their tax returns, I believe Romneyh's father set the tone. Romney's insistance that he not demonstrate his relationship with the IRS tells many of us that he thinks he is above such small mindedness. Had Romney been president for 4 years I would not be able to see the relevence of his tax returns but his views on taxation and especially taxation of the rich makes his tax returns pertinent to our understanding of who his is and how he might govern with relation to the all important conversation of taxation and specificaly taxation of the rich in this country at this present time.

I believe having a president that has spent time in other countries should be a prerequisite to the Office.
And I also think he has something to hide, but not his grades, hell 1/2 of "America" doesn't know where DC is on a map, so not his grades.
I feel, it has more to do with the sources of funding, It doesn't look good if Big Oil has anything to do with it. ( I read somewhere it was funneled from some Saudi prince that resides in Texas, through Occidentail University) I'll have to find the link.

if your doc is an intern then grades mean a lot, but if he has been practicing for years there are better indicators of his skill, unfortunately every record of obama's actions is locked up tight like a samsonite. all we can see is his 2 years in the senate a few speeches and his 3 years of bumbling failure in the whitehouse. even if romney's tax forms show him skating on all taxes he still has a better record than obama.
