These pics show what I have done already.
cut the dresser salvaged as many parts as possible
took mdf board and screwed it to the bottom to give an extra 4in of space for bottom
total space 29 in height
salvaged pieces from railings and used that and bottoms from the drawers as backing secured with nail/staple gun
So far I have only puchased
1/2" 2x4 MDF $8.72
Painter's caulk
hinge x4 $2.78
Staple gun with nailers $23
And I don't know about the hinges yet. The drawer faces are pretty thick and heavy. I don't know what to do for a door into the grow yet.
I have the idea to use more MDF board and gorilla glue with screws to make 2 doors, but I have never "made" a door.
Any suggestions?
