Driving through California

The I-5 through Calie has 797 exits, and is the best drive ever.

So I was going down the I-5 today from Oregon and saw a billboard advertising for the city of Weed that said 'Enjoy Weed'. I made sure to do so. Shortly after that, I was stoned in Weed bumping The Pot. I promise you, I did not do it purposely, I just put on 10,000 days after seing the billboard and enjoying weed.

Also, although most folks would say the most boring drive ever is the I-5 from Stockton to Grapevine (the San Joaquin Valley), I would thoroughly disagree. That is always the best part of the trip for me...

Now time for a :joint:. It would be a bongsmilie except California implores me to smoke to my full potential

I thought I spotted a few of those, especially near Coalinga. Man those cows smelled wretched, to be expected when there are so many of them I guess

EDIT - you just reminded me, on the subject of song coincidences, fade to black came on the radio just as the sun was setting near Lost Hills. Reminded me of you, kinda sick how addicting this website is, huh?

I've been up and down the I-5 so many times in my life I can practically count the inches. I prefer the 101 going south, something about the wind to your back on winding roads on cliff sides with lots of trees and the ocean air... that's my California.

I've done every inch of the 101 through Oregon, but none of the CA part. I really need to see it for myself...

I make that drive twice a year to say "connected" with NorCal if you catch my drift. It's one helluva grueling drive and I toke up eveytime we pass the city of Weed hahaha.

Highway 20 going up into Clear Lake from the I-5 is my favorite drive for sure

A great drive in Cali is the pacific coast highway at sunset
Amen to that! Ever since I found PCH I've made sure to live within driving distance. :peace:

My girlfriend and I love to chase the setting sun from Santa Monica well past Malibu. It's awe inspiring, in the biblical sense of the word.
