actually, the whole point of government is to ensure certain "god given" or natural freedoms. it is not always perfect, which is why we strive for a more perfect union.

if you ask the formerly enslaved people of this nation, they would probably not agree that the government has worked to take away their freedom, they have worked to guarantee those god given or natural freedoms. they have strived to a more perfect union.

but please, do tell: what freedoms have you lost lately?

and yes, because of the PPACA, you have lost the "freedom" to pass on your health care costs to others. your mooching ways have been made more limited.

i never considered the ability to pass your health care costs onto others a freedom, i considered it mooching.

Freedoms like paying all sorts of taxes to government programs that waste money.
Pretty much liberal agenda.

Freedom to do many things.
Most people are so numb to the things going on around them.
They take it for granted and don't question it, like a heard of sheep led to slaughter.

because i'm pretty sure that we have a mildly liberal president who has done nothing but lower taxes on everyone, save a hike of 4.6% extra on income above $400k.
