Help! This is my first grow and i dont know whats wrong with my baby. She's drooping something crazy. I flushed and then i might have overwatered. Knowing that i over watered i squeezed the excess out.I put perlite for a medium to grow in for a quick fix but shes still droopy. Im using a drip system hydroponic system, ph is at 5, temps are low 70's, just added fresh h20 and nutes yesterday.Any suggestions? Please help me get "her" felling better.

Thanks

so i checked ph today, maintaing about a 5.0 temps are still around 75, i added more h20 to dilute nutes, and have let the mix dry out, but still no change. I added a little bit of water maybe 20 ml's just to see if it was to dry but its still looking the same as of 3 hrs ago. Can anyone help me??? its my first grow and i really dont want to loose this plant.

it doesnt fix itself overnight. give it time and stop watering it. how well does your water runoff. it might be holding alot of water and you just keep adding more before it has time to dry up

edit: looking at the tips you either burnt it with heat or added to much of some nutrient and now it has some nute burning on the tips

so its been a week now and its still drooping but growing nonetheless. I got the ph to 5.8 - 6 and put fresh water and nutes today. its on a drip pattern of 4 times a day for 15 mins each time. i dont know whats going on. i let it dry out until it perked a little but then started drooping again so i started it on water. Could it be light stress? Im using 4 ft flouros about 3 inches from the top.

i also pruned two leaves and the tips of the newer leaves started to curl downwards even tho they are 4 nodes up. i added lava rocks to the mix because i thought that the perlite might be drowning the roots.

I dk. Im new at this indoor stuff. I usually grow outside with no problems.

heres some pics. i put it in a bigger pot with just lava rocks and added a diff dripper still no real improvement. would a fan blowing from a higher place cause them to grow like this? im just trying to think of any reason why it would be drooping the way it is.

Looks like you just had some early problems with ph being too low, causing nute lock and burn. The ph being off by a factor of 1.0 might not seem like a significant factor, but it is. Ph 5.0 is 10 times more acidic than 6.0...so a seemingly small amount can make a big difference, especially in cases of nute lock and other microbiological processes.
A while back, I didn't have a ph tester handy and did some guessing with my water before tossing it into a bubbleponics setup. Things seemed fine for a week or two, and then I had the same drooping patterns your plants show. I quickly picked up a new tester and my ph was sitting at around 7.5 at the time. I quickly adjusted the water and within a few days things were not only recovering but started taking off like they were making up for lost time.

Keep in mind...when you get some of that damage you don't always see those leaves that show(ed) the damage to recover fully...the rest of the plant may grow fine after it recovers, but those leaves could stay...scarred, for lack of a better term.

Now that your plants are growing again and apparently not drooping so badly, I would simply watch to make sure those older leaves get no WORSE. Other than that, focus on any possible damage appearing on new growth.
Make sure you can test your ph without too much trouble and keep an eye on it.
Try not to over-fertilize.

Aside from that I can't think of anything else right now.

well its been another week and still drooping even on newer growth. Ph about 5.8 - 6. trimmed lower leaves that were touching lava rocks. i cut out the watering and they seem to recover somewhat and then back to droop in which i water some more. could it be transplant shock? it wasnt growing like this until i transplanted. thanks for the help. im just puzzled.

so i woke up today and checked and its gotten really bad. was letting it dry out and its the worst its been. so i watered and cut mostly all of the almost dead leaves off. its frustrating because it seems nothing i do helps it. give alot of water, droop. give no water, droop. lower/higher nutes, droop and raise ph, droop. ahhhhhhh:wall: dont really know where to go from here. ill prolly just chop if nothing improves in the next week. just sucks cuz its a good indica bagseed that goes 10 a g.
