Drooping Problem

Best way to tell when plant that size needs water is to use the heft method. Water your plant really good. Then heft it up and remember how heavy it is. Then everyday pick up the pot. When the pot feels really lite give it some water. Or let it go to droop again counting the days it take to droop. This will tell you how log it can go without water letting you not overwater the plant.

Also a plant that size in pot that size may need water two times a day in high heat. Depending on your soil mix though.

What kind soil did you add/use?

You bought this plant? How much did you pay because i want to say bullshit. A 5' tall plant like that should pull a few ounces, and I'm guessing you didnt pay a few hundred dollars. I'm not giving you the benefit of the doubt, no way.

I've bought a 4 or 5 footer from a dispensary in south SJ for $100 before... The employees didn't really know what they were doing and only had a few CFL's lighting that one and about 7 others... It was still big enough to take about 45 good cuttings.

to the OP: I'd put that thing in the ground if I were you. Let that root zone expand.

Thanks for the advise 5150. That's a great idea. It hasn't been too sunny theese past few days because of the rain but I will take that into account. And I don't know what soil was used when the guy started it. I would have asked if I could.

We bought it for $300 flat. It should make about a quarter pound apparently which is why we jumped on this deal. I can see why people wouldn't believe me. Like the fact that he went to jail the same night and stuff too. But I assure you this story is 100% true. I have no reason to lie about it.

Your pot is small for a plant that size and it could easily dry out the soil in a short time. Plus a strong gust can blow it over with out any problem. Next time you get a killer deal with a cheap 2 gallon pot like that repot the plant into something at least twice as big. BTW congratz on the awesome deal.
