DROOPY PURPLE STEMS str8 up UGLY PLANT PLZ HELP!

Sup Im J,...So this is my 1st time growing, I have invested quite a bit of hard earned money in hope of bringing to life some fire buds to smoke with my friends and family!I feel that I have created the perfect
environment for growing cannabis in my master bedroom closet, with humidity any we're from 30%-60% temperature stays steady at 77°-84°f I have an AC in the room so that helps so here's we're I'm completely lost...my GAS OG about 2 months old(give or take) has been nothing but problems! I recently transplanted into a 5 gal smart pot from a 2 gal smart pot when from ffof to roots organics original...transplant went pretty smooth and dried up in about 5 days...then I decided to water using RO water with a 1/4 dose of ff nutes (not tiger bloom) 4 milligrams of calmag plus
A tbs of molasses(because I added mykos)a tbs if seaweed extract and PhD the water to 6.3 ish.......the plant hated it, it completely drooped out and new growth is hella stunned :/ stems are PURPLE as f! I'm 98% sure it's not over watered and I'm sure to PH is up to code ehhh I think my pH meters kinda suck..watcha guys and girls think I'll post pics tonight I gotta go with the famATM to the lake

Sorry about that I'll re write it tonight lol the wife wouldn't let me concentrate I used 2ml grow big and 1ml big bloom I also forgot to mention what light I use lol I have 2 Mars hydro one is 300 Watt and the other is 600 I will make a much more detailed thread tonight I appreciate the feedback

Well if those purple stems happened fast either 2 things.

A cold night or Sulphur deficiency. Or could just be plant genetics.

What kind of molasses did you use? And 1tbsp per how much water?

Get some PH 7 buffer and test ur PH meter. You’ll know then and there if your PH meter is out of whack.

Grandma's unsulphured molasses 1tbs per gallon and fed one gallon I got about 10% runoff then the next day I decided to flush it out because it didn't seem to like the mix I gave it looks kinda like a nitrogen toxicity but all the nitrogen I add is from the calmag plus I use...it's definitely clawing and getting burnt tips

I ordered more buffer packs from amazon, not coming untill Nov 3 ...sucks

take some pics. one whole plant, one of the bottom leaves, one of the top, and a close up of the purple stems. and in regular light please.
that will make it much, much easier to say anything with any degree of certainty

A picture paints a thousand words Would be easier to diagnose.

Well since you watered it twice, that may account for the drooping. Is the medium still wet?

Aye that extra nitrogen in cal mag can be annoying. Got the same issue. I used dolomite lime/Epsom salts on mine and they loved it.

Excess nitrogen requires more magnesium.

Since cal/mag is higher in cal than mag for MJ you want a higher ratio of Mag. But adding more calcium requires more mag for there to be a balance. I believe it’s 1:2 Cal/Mag. Make sense?

But before I spout anything more I’d like to see a pic of what’s going on

not getting better, there about dry...maybe tommorow or next day I will need to water her... what's going on with her!

@SdMEDgrower To be honest she looks ok mate. I've seen much worse

Now as far as I can see, there's a little N,P deficiency on the lower leaves. Pretty normal for a plant of her age, since there's basically no light getting down there the plant will just move those mobile elements around but could also be a sign of something else.

Purple stems are as I said, either cold or sulphur. I had purple stems on my ladies until I added epsom salts, which is magnesium sulphate.

Since you've just repotted, I suspect regarding the drooping that the plant hasn't filled out the new soil enough, so the roots in the centre of the new pot are too wet due to all the wet soil around them.


Has the drooping changed at all? I had drooping on my plants when I transplanted at first but cleared up as the soil dried out..

Haven't noticed any changes..new growth is definitely stunned and soil is about dry now....I might give her 1/4 strength nute solution since I did run 10 gallons of pure RO water through her last feeding...hope she gets better soon, my other plants are catching up quick!

See what I would do is, depending on how much time you have around ur plants. Is to keep watching them every 30 mins and wait for a noticeable drop in the leaves then water them. Also, before watering I'd lift the pot, get a feel for how light it is. Then once fully watered see how heavy it is.

Do you have any epsom salts?

No but I'm going to run some errands and will try and pick some up today.. I'll have to do some research as I don't know shit about Epsom salts

All it is is Magnesium Sulphate. So Magnesium and Sulphur basically.. Its renowned in the growing world for improving taste, flavour of tomatoes, flowers, buds ect
