This video comes courtesy of the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union. It's a video documenting the 2009 UN conference in Vienna, Italy. It seems that stupidity is not exclusive to the US.

very good stuff!! ^

you get to hear from a Portuguese man who is on a commission to dissuade use.. it all sounds so reasonable and good..!!!!

later you hear from an old fart narc officer who tries to say that decriminalization is not really what helped people, but it was the additional funds funneled into prevention programs.. he says that Sweden has less drug use because they are tougher a-holes about it.. however i have been reading this document - http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/2009/04/02/new-study-drug-decriminalization-in-portugal/ - which clearly shows that Sweden has more cannabis use than Portugal.. so he's either wrong or just a liar.. he also pretty much says that alcohol prohibition was good.. what an arse.......

then there is more reasonable talk... well worth the 25 minutes... :-)
