Just cut it all down. got a nice drying closet that i can get to 70=74 degrees and 35 to 40% humidity. Seems to be going ok..but this 'snap' yer suppose to hear when bud is dry...does that mean break in two? also read it snaps after dry AND cure...not when you take it down dry from the line, but after its bee in jars two weeks. any help much appreciated!

hang it, leave it until its dry. a few days. i put the bud up to the tip of my nose to feel if it's too moist... crude but i already know how dry weed feels when i touch the tip of my nose to it.... its part of my inspection every time i buy, look, sniff, touch the tip of my nose.... too moist and it better weigh a little more, too dry and i won't buy it...

as for curing put it in a jar for a week or two... some people say minimum of 2 weeks...open it every day and give it a sniff, when you think it smells good enough smoke away...

yups all good advice also
when u break a stam it should break not bend but also when it breaks it should be barely held together by inner stem
but outer stem will snap
and i cant wait to cure my bud
ill be so patient and ill profit from it

Thats the biggest misconception I think there is on here . If your humidity is to low and you wait till the stem snaps your too late.Mine gets crispy on the outside and when the stems fold but not quite snappping yet I put them in jars . Wait about 6 hours if they was too wet , I put them in paper backs to dry some then back to the jars . I,d rather pull them a little wet than too dry.

Drying is one of those things you have to watch closely pay attention to whats going on and you will have sucess.
