Hey guys. My first attempt at producing hash. I used the dry ice method using the bubble bags sized 73, 160 and 220 for 2 Moby Dick plants and 2 Critical Jack.. I think there might be too much plant material in all 3 sizes or I might have dried them for too long ( I waited 2 days after seiving to start pressing ) but they are not clumping together well and too brittle and dry. I used a hot water bottle method to press but they are just too brittle. The colour changes a bit to darker but not sticky. Is there anything I can do ? Maybe like adding a bit of water to rehydrate it a bit? The picture shows Moby Dick at 73 micron bag after pressing with hot water bottle for about 30 minutes.

Not much help. But I've seen car Jack's used to press the stuff against a metal block. Bottle jack,s.
How many times have you run your weed through. I've herd of it being (each run) put through up to 4 or 5 times. Sometimes this gets the fine glands your after.and missed the first time
So try more pressure. You could try a clothes iron and push down hard. I'm not sure if this will produce dabble oil. So not for long. Press in short bursts with baking parchment to contain it all in.
And run it through the bags another 3 or 4 times. Others will chime in if I'm wrong on any of the info good luck

I ran through the bags 3 times for each size. With the dry ice , I think it might have caused the plant material to breakdown too fine that a lot of plant material went through the bags. Hmm... Perhaps I should have gone with the proper bubble hash method instead of taking the shortcut with dry ice.
