Dry leaves.

Hi all,

First up, I checked the sticky on plant problems, but the pictures wouldn't load, hence for my post.

Attached are some pictures which show the issue I'm having with my plant.

Afew weeks ago the leaves started curling up, going dry and crumble when touched. They remain green tho.

I've ruled out heat burn, and believe it's a nutrient burn of some kind. By the pictures attached, am I right in assuming nutrient burn? And if so, is anyone able to tell me what it's getting to much of? And how to solve the problem.
Ive been pruning off the severly affected leaves and I flushed yesterday so it's still to soon to tell if the flush helped.

not nute burn, nute burn gives you burnt tips. Heat damage and off ph act alot alike. since you ruled out the heat damage....its gotta be the ph and or tap water problems

first plant looks good, second one looks like its over fed imo..i would watch new growth now that you have flushed...in the mean time get your soil PH tested by a professional just to be on the safe side and adjust accordingly..

your soil looks like mud...need some perilite in there so the roots can get better O2, best way to deal with this is to take a shish ka bob stick and manualy airate the soil...next grow be sure to mix a 1:4 ratio of perilite:soil or get a soil that is pre mixed with perilite.

canabis is a breather plant not a drinker....it needs H20 to survive but its not a swamp plant, it enjoys having well draining and fairly dry soil..jusdging by the stage of growth your in as long as temps are relaivly reasonable you shouldnt have to water any more than once a week if not once every 2 weeks since your soil dosent look like it drains well its hold on to that moisture for a longer period of time.

Thanks for the input guys.
The soil normally drains fairly well, and there's perlite under the actual soil, as I mix it into the soil before I repot into a larger pot plant. Although I've noticed since the flush it is taking a lot of time to dry out.

I have a PH tester here, but it's a fairly crap type where u need to mix a powder and liquid into the soil, give it a mix, then depending on the color it turns out you can determine the PH level. Is there a better type of PH tester I can be using?

You can purchase ph test strips from drugstores and walmarts. Try that, and if you need to adjust the ph I'd get a "ph up/down kit"

Nutrient burn is a result of the roots taking in more nutrients than a cannabis plant can use. This excess level of nutrients causes a brown or yellow "burn" along the tips of your leaves. If nutrient levels are not lowered, the burnt tips start traveling inwards and tend to get crispy and twisted.
