A lot of those farmers are also threatened with having their families killed and such by the Taliban, no doubt the drug trade over there is a major source of terrorist funds. I'll make my own hash, good job to the boys over there for taking it out...

Yes, I am aware of that but right now any drug bust is being called a victory in the war on terror. But you also have to consider some of these people farm it anyways because well what else can grow out there thats worth money? Not saying they was in the wrong, but more it could have gone to better things then destruction.
 
Definitely agree with ya there... if it wasn't such a huge cache of it I'd say it was a farmer's crop, but 237 tons is definitely some terrorist shite ya know? :peace:

I dono depends on if it was a whole village or not, and think of the size of the fields of ganja they could have. Makes my mouth water thinking about it. :weed:
 
spent 2 years over that in the USAF...

There are literally FIELDS of opium in Afghanistan... you couldnt imagine it...

pot and hash there is so open there that its almost as common as regular smokes.
 
Yeah my pops is AF as well, spent a few months in Afghanistan... he always commented how when the soldiers came out of the Hubbly Bubbly, hookah lounge I guess? They would always be laughing their asses off and what not, figured they got hooked up on some hash and opium with that hookah they tried out.
 
Hashish is a name for a different drug in arabic and its not weed, i think it may be heroin but il get back to you on this
 
Hehe cops can bust growers and smokers but they can never wipe the good herb off the planet:) why governments wanna waste billions trying to do that is beyond me. hell in times like this when fuel is so damn high you'd think they would realize the potential of this plant for bio fuels. but never let it be said that the leaders of the world want to do things the easy way:)
 
Now, I heard that since alcohol is unacceptable to Muslims, they smoke weed and hashish instead....am I incorrect about this?
