My buds got to the fdd stage of dryness (crispy on the outside bendy on the stems) so I trimmed the stems weighed them and put them into jars.
After I trimmed them I put them on my 16 inch floor tom head and took them outside for a quick picture when I got them into the sun my little catapiller friend (remember this guy)showed up with about 10 friends.
I examined each bud carefully and crushed the little buggers between my fingers. I got guitar player fingers impervious to bug juice.
I'll take them out to the sun again in a day or so to see if any more turn up.
In the end I ended up with a mere 4. 2 oz. and 1.8 oz from the first plant. So I think I'll have enough to last me most of the next year. That is, if I can continue my light weight toker ways. I usually smoke about a half an oz per month. If I smoke more I never get anything done. I quit practicing, neglect my recording studio and eat like a pig.
