Hey all, getting ready for harvest. Just wondering if any of yous have tried drying using decissant, which is a chemical that absorbs moisture. I use it to dry my mushrooms and it works like a charm.
what you do is get an airtight container put decissant in the very bottom, I use someting called damp trap, and line them up in the bottom, place a mesh lining overtop the damp traps and leave the weed there on the lining with the container sealed.
I tried drying some sample bud last week this way and it was bone dry within 2 days, smelling fresh with no potency or taste lost. It wasn't smooth as a babys butt, but it was decently smooth. I think this is what ima try for my big harvest.
Im gonna be harvesting round 7 ounces, how much will this stink? in an airtight container, in my closet will my roomates room next door get a wiff?
