Hi guys, where i live i have a high humidity , and in places like edges of windows, bathroom a have a bit of mold but i clean weekly , because temperature of outside and from my house is very diffrent (cold outside, hot inside). My grow isnt affected , but in few days i will harvest so i want to ask if I DRY BUDS WITH A FAN BLOWING ON THEM , i can prevent mold ? (they drying in 1-2 days maximum ,i hope) . I know they will not have the perfect taste , but i have the same potency and high ? I think I better give up their taste than to have mold on them and throw up , i am right??

You shouldn't grow or dry weed near any mold.
And you shouldn't have a fan blowing directly on the weed while drying, it should just be used to circulate air.
You want to have a nice and stable drying period of at least a weeks time.
If you have big problems with high humidity you could get a dehumidifier.

Dehumidifier. Or possibly you could dry in a closet and use a couple cups of Damp Rid. If you go that route, make sure it doesn't get TOO dry in there. SLOW drying is one of the most important steps in the whole growing process.

I built a drying box out of an old ice chest. Drilled holes all across the bottom, covered it with a wire mesh to keep bugs out, and then mounted a small fan on the outside of the box to draw air through it.

Seems to help some, but even in 100% humidity it takes a LONG time to get the buds dry enough to jar.

I am testing a batch of Atomic Northern Lights right now after one week in the chest, I trimmed the buds off the stems, jarred them, and stuck them in the freezer. I take them out once a day, pour the jars into a paper bag to air out, and let the jars defrost and pour any moisture out of the jars, then put it all back together and repeat.

I lost a jar full of Bubba Kush and a jar of Purple Kush to mold already. I'm not going to let that happen again!
