Drying different strains in same tent

Couldn't find info about this.
If you have strains that finish different time, how to dry them? Some commercial grower in USA, can't remember which, mentioned that if they have plant A in drying room and it takes ~4? days for plant B to finish, they wont put it to the same room anymore.

I have different strains finishing at different times, but only one drying tent. 5 strains. Last ones to cut can be left to dry in flower tent, but the rest.. What do you guys think is the last time to add more to drying tent after the first plants go in?

I've never had a problem with drying multiple strains in the same tent..

I can see where the humidity from a fresh harvest could effect drying times of previous harvests, but I don't think it would effect the buds themselves. Besides, aren't longer drying times more ideal, for the connoisseur, not for commercial production.

I am not a curing pro, but I remember reading that you get the hay smell if you add humidity again to already drying product. Got some lovely smelling stuff and don't want to ruin it one bit!

Good to hear, I just want to be certain that I'm not going to fuck it up at the end line

Ive no problem drying different strains in the same room, but I wouldnt put freshly cut plants into a room where I already have plants days ahead of them drying. I dont think the added humidity would be a good thing.

Good question, i'll follow this thread. I'm also planning to dry multiple strains in one tent.

Would it work with a dehumidifier set at 50% all the time?

I would assume if you put freshly cut plants into a room with plants that are already on their way to drying, is not a good thing. Youre still adding humidity to the air even if you have a dehumidifier.

I see no problem with multiple strains put in the same room at the same time. Ive been doing that for 45 years.

Yeah my problem is that they wont finish at same time. Well some strains might not get the most optimal drying conditions then

When I used to only have one tent I would hang the plants that finish first in a cardboard box.

If you will have plants that finish at different times every grow you might want to get another tent.

What are the drawbacks of letting them dry ‘on the stalk’ until ready to cure? Haven’t tried it, but suddenly curious
