Drying in COLORADO???

So my issues at hand, ive got a great grow going but my drying is a little off. I cant seem to get them past 2-3 days without really really crisping up and smelling like hay or nothing. I know the cure is where most of that comes into play but they should still have a better smell then hay. My conditions arent the greatest but they work for now. Im using a self made Tent(7Lx4wx7h) made of mylar(black side in) with a heavy duty tarp on the front. The temp is holding very steady at 68-69 deg and now at 51% RH. before doing some reasearch i had it at 35% but for as dry as my basement is im thinking that the rh right now is perfect(have nat. gas furnace in the same room). Unfortuantely, i dont have another room besides that side of the basement so i know that is not a workable idea. So my only real question is by reading the numbers, do my conditions sound about right? I also have a 6" fan in there bouncing off the wall and flowing thru the room for circulation. Any input is appreciated and considered. Thanks All.

I have my exhaust fan, which is a cheap 8" tabletop fan, pulling air out. The fan is just hung in front of the 8" ducting. Then I have a passive intake for the dry room. The passive intake is on the floor and the exhaust is on the ceiling. To adjust the flow of air to the desired rate just move the fan away from the 8" duct a bit, or add a bend in the duct. This gives me a 5-6 day hang dry until it's ready to head to jar for a couple more weeks of burping and curing, at least.

I even put that exhaust fan in my veg room so the veg filter takes care of the smell. Hope this helps. Good luck grower.

I just bought a humidifier... i will be keeping 50-55 R.H, also a dehumidifier if it goes past 60

Small closet, close the door. Takes about 7 days to get to the spot where ya can jar it up. And then start burping em bout once every 1-2 days, blow out the dank (no pun intended) air and let new air roll in!
