Drying my BUDS on a "new" DOGHOUSE (need advise).

Hello, I´m planning to harvest in the following 4 weeks. Small Yield, 1 Indica Purple Urkel (40" high) and a Sativa (60" high). It´s my personal next year yield.

This is my first grow, so I´m planning the drying and curing final step.

Now I realize that I don´t really have an Inside option for drying, because of the smell inside a house.

My first option is to buy a new Doghouse, that will never have a Dog, but a Setup for Drying and hangup the buds.

I can easily install it on the same roof my plants are growing, outside. It´s an open place where I´m the only one having a key, because there are bees and nobody wants to be around. There is nothing to do on the roof too, so nobody goes.

Outside temp: cold at night is 14C (57F), hot during the day 26C (80F), Hummidity 94% (way faraway from sea, snow right on the middle of the city).


Do you think that setup will works? I´m buying a new doghouse, so I won´t have dog odors.

Do you think a doghouse will be good for that?

If yes what dimensions do you recommend, considering that only 2 people will have to take up the Doghouse, 2 floors up by the stairs?

if not, what kind of setup can I make on the plain roof of a house?

If you had it completely sealed I dont see why not. If not sealed it would be attacked and infested with bugs.

make sure you check for mold every morning due to it being outside and such, might collect dew in the morning and mold.

if no one else has access, maybe a storage container would work. It's got to be cheaper than that doghouse.

Can people please stop opening two threads sayin the same exact thing it's soo fucking annoying.

I´m sorry for the double tread, It was not my intention, I posted the first one, then I went to my subscribed tread and did not see it, I tough it did not wen´t thru, that is why I submitted again, when I found the double tread, I found no way to delete one of them. Pls advised how to avoid such mistakes.

There is a lot of setups for growing "Closet GrowRom", but like me, half guerrilla/half indoor, I´ll love some portable or easy to setup container for drying and curing it, not necessary on my locker or bedroom. Because I grow outside, but want to dry and cure it, no to faraway.

What do you think?

I think it would be dangerous leaving buds outside simply because of the smell issue indoors. Have a closed box indoors with a small fan pushing through a carbon filter and dry the buds in there, where you can properly control the temperature and humidity, which are crucial to the drying/curing process.
