Drying out my buds

Hey guys I just wanted to put this up, make sure ive got this set up right. Ive got my buds hung up in my bedroom cupboard, lights are off 95% of the time and even if its on, the cupboards shut up. Theres a small 15w fan on the floor angled up just to circulate the air, they seem to be still whenever I look, maybe SLIGHLY moving in the breeze but I attribute that to when I open the sliding door bumping them a little tbh. They are a good 2-3 feet above the fan too. They've been in there bout 2 days and the leaves haven't even shrivelled up yet so I'm pretty sure its not drying too quick but is too slow also a problem? It is coming into winter too and the bedroom is always sealed so the average temp is probably anywhere from 15C-30C but nights can get down to 7-8C and cause the rooms sealed it takes a lot longer to warm up than the rest of the house. Humidity would definitely be low.

low temps will help compensate for low humidity somewhat, but if its getting up over 25C consistently, you may want to look into a humidifier. if it stays under 20C you're good. 7 is pretty low, but i don't think it'll hurt anything, just slow down the process

mold has a hard time growing under 16C, and below 50% rh, if you're exceeding either, keep an eye out

hang on but if mold cant grow in low humidity, isn't low humidity good? why buy a humi? I'm not trying to just shoot you down I'm genuinely curious.

If the RH in the weed goes below a certain level, curing stops... permanently.

Dry sloooow even direct airflow can crispen the outsides stopping the cure

Low and slow as possible without mold and youll be happy

the slower you can dry, the better it will be for your final product. you have to kind of walk the tightrope between good drying conditions and good mold conditions. my grow area stays around 72 f, and i keep the rh in there at 70%. i was going lower, but it was drying too fast. i don't have a fan in the area, but i do have a 4 inch booster hooked to a timer,blowing out of the room. it cuts on for 15 minutes every two hours to keep the air fresh. i just check it a couple of times a day.
cleaning is important too, i use physan 20 to wipe everything down with between dryings, if there's nothing living in your drying area, it can't grow

I am so happy the cold of winter set in, super easy to do a nice cure.
I let humidity go up to about 70, then I knock it down to high 50's, and power off the dehumidifier to let it build up again in cycles.
I don't even really have to burp the jars, the weed is just curing so nicely.

I cure in my basment which is about 60 degrees

In an airtight (as much as possible) box

With dehumidifier set anywhere from 55%to65%
Depending on bud densities and time of year

A cold smoke is the best smoke

I always find the curing part is easy if you do the drying right.
