Wait... Did you let it dry out too much? which would void post #2. Post # 2 would be valid if ones on top of their shit.also question on the 55 ro drying zone. ive read that once it drops below 55% the cure is done and can not be restarted. soooo after i finish my initial trim and jar, is the initial humidity supposed to be above 55 already or am i jarring to get it there and then insure that it doesnt fall below 55? i just trimmed and jarred and everything is sitting right at about 48. hasnt ever been past 55 which is the reason im asking
Yeah think so. Freshly in the jar its sitting at 47 after 24hrsWait... Did you let it dry out too much? which would void post #2. Post # 2 would be valid if ones on top of their shit.
Yeah i use my 4x8 tent. Had to go out of town for one day. Figd it be ok. The humidfier i use has a built in controller to set it. Shame it ran out of water. I'm in basement as well. Sits right around 48. Prob why thats where everything measured when i put them in jars. For anyone who has the problem of drying to fast, my self, I am in a basement with normally 35-45% rh. I have a small indoor green house with a zip up front and several racks, I just hang my flowers and throw a hygrometer in there, normally stays at about 65-70 rh, if it gets to high I just open the door and air it out a bit and seal Iit back up.
If it were to still stay to low, I have a humidifier hooked up to it (I made it for fruiting fungi) and you could easily hook up a controller and get it perfect if one were so inclined. Same goes with if it were way to humid, hook up a dehumidifier and controller.
I found that since i harvested everything a few days apart that each time i added new buds it helped keep the humidity up, not sure what I'll do for the last one lol I'm gonna have like a 5 week gap after my last one come down till I start taking down the newest batch, got 1 skunkage 5 mango tango 1 blueberry headband 5 pineapple chunks 1 starbud and 1 burmese kush to rround it outYeah i use my 4x8 tent. just keep the rooms rh at 50% ....keep it dark ...keep air movingif i were going to make an error in drying which is best? too wet or too dry?
Ok good. So starting at 47 when going in jars isnt the death of meIts already going until it dips and stomatas close halting gas exchange. But this doesnt happen till about 40%.. and as church eluded, this doesnt mean all processes come to a screeching stop.
no ........u can modify your cut for times like those ......leave just alittle in the stem so when u jar it up releases they are little less crispy and get a good cureO
