iv'e seen quite a few posts on the curiosity of drying your buds in a jar full of rice. of all the drying methods i stick with the good ol' fashoned hang dry in the closet and try not to read too much on all the new-era drying methods.

however with my knowledge of what rice has to offer as a natural good besides eating it, this method has drawn my attention.

i have not been able to find someone who has done this and is able to share their thoughts on it, so if you have, feel free to comment/msg me about it.

for those who have an interest in this method such as myself, please feel free to drop a comment on my page as well, for i will be doing this with pics starting today.

i have 2 jars.

1 jar full of rice

1 jar full of rice and a few grapefruit peels.

1/4 oz. of bubba kush, fresh off the plant in each jar

jar is sealed, i will open them 3 times a day.

the rest of the most recent harvest is drying via. air dry.

f*ck that.. i took it out of the jar last night to let it air dry instead. i have NEVER had a problem with mold before i tried this. maby i did something wrong, mabye there was some mold spores i did not see and the enclosed jar caused it to spread? theres a lot of mabyes but all i can say about this is, mold. i was able to salvage the nugs tho, just peeled back a few lil fan leaves. might be a different outcome if i do it again without the lid on, and perhaps a cooler temp? idk, i was bored yesterday and thats what led me to this, but i will be sticking with my hang dry method. STAY GREEN!!
 
actually fuck, this might be a little late but ya know what? i took the tops of 2 shoeboxes and filled em with rice. then i took all the nugs that were too small to hang and i just threw em on the rice. it worked VERY well. so props to rice!! hellz yea!!
