Duchies Little Big Top. Under the 600!

Ha,ha. Just like fruity colored cereal. Overall, looking at everything, I'm pretty happy with her being my second but the high was good but still too short. I think she might have been more Sativa than I figured. I gave her a full 9 weeks but I think she needed a bit more. I have a new little scope now so that should help. Here shots from today and her clone, Princess C is in here. I think the boys got to her, which I am hoping, she's 44 days 12/12 and real far behind. You can see from past pics that she was odd all along.

Ya, this Sannies strain has been doing that, really hoping I have at least one girl here this time though. The male I'm trying my hand at gathering pollen from also had purple in him. I'm still vegging them but I put them under the HPS during the day, but they start and finish under the white cfls along with a nice shower. Tonight I noticed how deep purple it got after the wet down. Gonna try and get a nice shot of it after the morning shower. How far into that Jack Herer are you and how long is the flower on it. A lot of Sannies strains are based off his Jack Herer. Sorry if you were maybe confused. The White Widow I'm growing are femmed seeds I won in a photo contest at marijuana-seeds.nl, I explain more just a little earlier in the thread. 14 weeks flowering time!! Very Sativa dominant that JH F6 but you'll get some real big ass buds bro. I was growing some pure Sativa bagseed last grow and wanted a faster flowering strain this time round so that's why I picked up the WW's. The Greenhouse JH's take about 10 I believe and the WW's around 8-9 weeks. Ya, Smooth Criminal was one of he's best tracks...much prefer the older albums. How old are your Jack's and WW's now and are they in flowering yet?

The WW and The Purps are only a week veg. The Jacks are 25 days now and I'm itching to get them in. Sannie doesn't recommend a long veg with these guys and the males proved that. I'll put a side by side up in a second. Problem is I still have two males in the tent, which I could solve by taking them out and putting them under some floros to finish off but I also have the female that the boys no doubt got to but shes also hermied to hell with nanners everywhere and 3 weeks to go. I'm contemplating keeping these Jacks going for mothers and sex them from clones. These Jacks are kinda my baby project while the others are just to produce something to smoke so maybe I'll just have to practice some patience.

Hey whodat, sorry I missed you there. Thanks for the compliment. I have a bit of an odd vegging regime but it seems to work well. Let me lay it out.

In the morning the cool white (cfl) and calm (raised up)sun shines on the wet/dewey (spray bottle) plants. As they dry the sun rises and gets stronger (lowering the cfls) then as the sun rises it get stronger and more orange (move under HPS). Later as the sun sets to the weaker and bluer (move back to cfl) ligh,t the cool air of the night cools the warm air from the day leaving a wet dew (spray bottle) on them to drink up overnight while they sleep. I live in an agricultural area and this is just how I see things.

Alright, so I did some topping the other day and I'd like to share that with you but I'd like to spend a little time laying it out before I present it. In the meantime the boys are spewing all over the tent like the upstairs room at a frat house and Princess C is full of babies. Don't ask me who the Baby Daddy is because it can be anyone, including herself with all those nanners she has hanging out all over the place. I figure she has about another week to two to harvest her and the boys are coming out in the next day or two so then I can clean up The Top and get ready for the new Jackies and the upcoming Widows and Purps. Gotta tell ya though, I'm not thrilled with these Jordan of the Island genetics yet. Well see how the next two seedlings, that are coming up right behind them, do. You'll see more when I post the topping pics.

Actually I'm hoping it's a boy. If I get a boy then I'm pretty certain that one of the Jack's is the Papa. I figure somewhere down the road, when I'm a little better set up, I'll grow out a whack of these and see if I can find something special to play with.

One of these days I will be able to set up a shot like this.

OK, I promised some pics of my topping the other day, and I have them, but after some thought I decided to wait and get some after shots to put with the before. Anyway, these Jackhammer boys came in here, and I let them stay out of the goodness of my heart, and what to they do? They rape my bitch and then leave their mess all over the place for me to take care of! Sick bastards. Well in the end I took care of them and you'll never see them again. Maybe their seed, but never them. First two shots are of that rascally bugger, Little Jack. And then of course the tall lanky one is Big Jack.

For reference, each square on the black plastic is 9" tall.












I tried to top for four but this happened instead. A couple of reasons I think for this, and I think I mentioned it before, is one, I cut too close to the second node, maybe should have waited for a little more space between the 2nd and 3rd. The other is, I don't think I waited long enough for the shoots to grow from the nodes before topping. Well judging by the topping this time I think I have it licked.


And this is how we handle rapists and bugger's around here, cause I know they were probably doing each other too!


So I moved my CFL's today over to The Top for a double trapeze act, but I think I'm gonna axe that tomorrow. I've decided to put the 6 new acts into 12/12 right away and put the seedlings back under the little light again.


And this is the basil I picked today, that smells soooo strong and that I'm going to make some nice pizza with. Proudly produced under the 600!
