hey i just bough a couple of fungus spores...here is the story...the spores arrived at the house of a friend with the culture jars, i told my fried to put the serynges with the culture jars in a box and spray some dilluted bleach in the box for sterillizaton...my fried though i told him to inject the culture jars...he injected the culture jars by just wiping the serynge sith alcohol and injecting it in the wholes NOT pressing the needle against the glass...shoul i wait what happens or should i just throw it away.?

i'm worried bc he didn't sterilized with heat but with alcohol so i would like to know how problematic it is..?

I never flame sterilize I always wipe it down is alcohol, Not 1 contam out of about 50 jars...

Yea you should be fine.. Just next time make sure that needle is clean, you dont need flame. 70% alcohol is best for killing off anything on it.

I use combo of both just to be safe... but i've literally done every step wrong before and still been successful. you could get lucky. also i've screwed entire batches of spawn by fucking up once.. lol

Lol damn last week i knocked up 17 jars, and I did it rather sloppy, and All of them are growing hella fast and no sign of contams yet
