growing in FFOF soil, 3 gal pots, 400w hps, 1 week into flowering

just wondering how much water i should be giving these guys, Ive been trying to just see what i think they need and giving them water every couple days or so during veg.
now that they are gettin bigger they are suckin the water up really fast.
just wondering if anyone has a certain schedual that they use as far as like how many ml or oz of water they use and how many days in between. ive been feeding on every 3rd watering just fyi, FFOF soil is really hot with nutes so ive been scaling back quite a bit to prevent nute burn. (Early feedings showed signs of burning)

So i guess the question is how much water when, ill include a pic so you have an idea of the size. Id say they are <3ft or so

any other questions you may have that would help you answer just ask!

Water whenever you plants get dry and before they wilt. It all depends on a lot of different things. How big the pot is, how big the plant is, how hot it is, how humid it is, the airflow through the room. A basic rule of thumb is soak it till 1/10 of the water runs out after its saturated. Then check it everyday and when its dry a an inch down water it. I water every other day, and feed every other watering. But your feed schedule is just as diverse as a watering schedule. It all depends on the strain as well.

There are many factors to how often you will need to water. Like how hot is it, how many roots you got? The longer the veg the more roots in flower. All kinds of stuff factor in, so a rule of thumb is to water and then lift pot, now you know what it feels like when it does not need water, lift it every day and when it feels light water it.
I feed Fox Farm every watering and flush every 30 days.

Yeah, nobody can really tell you an exact amount, as it does vary. I would say maybe 1/4 gallon every 3-4 days if you are using 3 gallon containers. You will have to check to see if it's dry before watering again, but it's no biggie. It's like watering any other plant...

That is my best estimate, but I am sure other people's opinions may differ.
