I would totally love to give it a try. Besides my wife having a fit and the possibility of failing and wasting some 20-30 bucks on spores it sadly will not be in my future soon

Never done mushrooms. But i know enough about mushroom culture to know what i was seeing at the beginning of the thread. You don't eat the mushrooms from the first but you can spore print the fruiting bodies of the proper species that result to start a sterile culture to consume. Try reading more.

I was just having fun. I did shrooms all the time in WA when I was younger. We didn't have to grow them though. We'd just go pick them wild.
