Is the Duramax 360 just a re-branded Apollo8? If so I wonder why www.cabinetgrow.com is charging $700 plus when all the other threads say they are getting Apollo 8's for $300 - $400 shipped? Do these lights require any type of ballast or are they just plug in and good to go?

I've been using a duramax 270 and it's working well, runs cool and the buds finished a few days quicker than my HPS. I've tried some other LED panels I bought on ebay and they worked great for vegging but suck for blooming.

I bought one a couple months ago to put in one of my two grow systems. Swapped it for a 600w and I got about the same results. The nug looked a little different, but it was actually stickier and stinkier than the 600. Darker green too. I'm gonna switch out my other 600 after my next crop.

I don't know about the appollo, but I know I'd rather deal with a US company when it comes to warranty and such. Common knowledge that the vast majority of products you buy are made in China...especially in the hydroponics industry, but good luck returning a generic quantum ballast to the factory in China. That's why you pay more for a quantum.
