Dust from predator mite application.

Hey all I recently received some predator mites that were delivered within dust essentially for application, I essentially dusted my flowering plants which felt extremely wrong. Am I right in the sense that this may cause me issues in the future or should I be okay? I believe it was a corn meal or grain of some sorts it appears to come off of some of the leaves with a shake but other with more heavily bedded trichomes are having a more difficult time.
