dusty powdery leaf to hash?

Iv asked before, but still hash is shit...

ITs dry dusty broken up bud leaf from trim machine.
Every time hash is GREEN and shitty.

1. How much alcohol to use per pound of the dry bud and leaf?
(Its really expensive in California because the hasmat fee!

Should I continue to use bubble bags then ISO extract the oils?
Or should I just keep buying $100 a gallon alcohol?

There is green powder in the bottom of this leaf that makes very bad hash!

Can I try the run from the cure method with 4 pints of alcohol (99%) and one pound of bud trim? Cost me about $25 for the 4 pints.

I've never done this myself before so don't take what i say as fact or anything, but ive looked into using the bubblebags to make hash, how many bags are you using? I never saw in any process them using alcohol to extract the oils, simply mixed the plant matter in with iced water, agitated it a bit, and then waited, material gathered in first 2 bags was always thrown away, then next 3 bags collected the hash, every time i saw this process the person doing it had stretched their bags over the backside of big bowls, and let it dry..removed it off days later then enjoyed.
Like i said ive NEVER made hash, so your already ahead of me in that department, no idea what the green dusty stuff is or why its making your hash so bad but if i had to make a guess id say its containing chlorophyll. Just thought id throw it out there that maybe your just doing something a little off during your extracting process. I would'nt think you would need iso alcohol for sure to make the hash.

This just means that the trim is broken down too much. Hash will be green if plant matter is getting in it. This happens by the plant matter breaking down so much, that it makes it through the filter as well

Don't know if i understand you right but sounds like you are doing a clone of two things.
For making cannabis oil you use some kind of soluble. When doing this you don't need bubble bags. The better the bud the better the cannabis oil. It matters if you use alcohol or butane. Butane does not dissolve the green stuff that makes hash oil green instead of amber/honey. You don't need bubble bags here.
For making very pure hash use bubble bags. Here you use ice water and ice to make the trichomes hard and break off. To make great hash use material where you see trichomes on it. If you don't see crystals you can't make great pure hash.

The auto trimmer ~REALLY~ chops the hell out of trim, even bud trim makes crap hash.

I used a trim reaper.

Then again I was never after hash or trim and the reapers are really worth having no hash.

Ok - well if the water hash is bad you probably have to much plant matter compared to trichomes so sound right to extract honey oil from this. I'd say use butane instead of alcohol if you want to get some nice honey oil.

Use the 'Ice hash' method

The first picture is my last try, I used 4X more ice! (Its actually gray this time, not black or green)
Second pic the hash was not good at all. (Last month try)

The first pic it has a great smell also.

ALso it looks like my friends killer hash when he get it from the bag, then some how it turns black. Im still new to this.
