It looks like it is nice and bushy even though its not tall man. Looks like the center branches all have good growth. You gotta figure with the stresses, it has gotten stunted a few times. Have you seen any evidence of preflowers at all?

Paint the bucket with krylon fusion paint it is made for painting plastic, or just cut a circle of mylar or white plastic and lay it on top.
Main culprit definitely was fluctuating res temps. Will cardboard work lol?

no idea, the krylon is just made for plastic, they well it at walmart, and auto zone and places like that.

nice grow put your 5 gallon in a tote and put 5or6 inches of water and put your ice bottle in there i cant imagine the roots like touching that cold bottle......my two cents

oh and also if you wanna have heavy buds from top bottom hang your light vertically.when you crop this time notice all the fluffy stuff on the bottom.and then try hanging it vertical big difference in yield....my opinion

I think that may be a wise choice. Depending on exactly what it does in the transitional stretch it could get pretty big I"d say.

Help! I think I have wind burn. I had a small black fan on its lowest setting blowing over the canopy on a rack type thing but the plant got too big for the rack so I put the fan on the floor pointing at the plant. A day later I check it and it looks like it has nute burn and shit.

Should I just point the fan at the wall instead of the plant? Im a week away from flower I need help from experienced hydro'ers! PPM 300 pH 5.7 Room temp 74 Light's 400w MH About a foot away being constantly cooled by an inline fan... will it fix itself/

That plant is going to be so fucking huge after the 12/12 stretch... hope you have a good 6' of height space.

Sorry, not sure what's going on with your leaves... ph, ppm, and ambient temps are fine. You can try moving your fan or pointing it at the wall, but I don't think that's the problem. If your ph is dropping significantly, or roots are turning brown or slimy, it could be a sign of rootzone probs, but you don't mention anything like that, so hard to say. I'm not good at identifying deficiencies, maybe someone else will have a better idea. My problems have always been cause by ph, water pathogens, or high ambient temps.

When in doubt, gently/carefully rinse/flush out the roots and make a new res. If you think you may have pathogens in the res, use a small amount of sterilizing agent like chlorine (tap water), h202, bleach, etc.... then start using benes if you aren't already. If you aren't having root problems, you can probably ignore all this shit.

Hey logo, I wish I had a good answer for you man. I have fans blowing right on my girls 24/7 and never notice anything like that. It seems like all your levels are correct, and even though the "cupping" can be from over ferting, your ppm is low enough it doesn't seem like it should be. Is the new growth still looking good? If its just the old growth its possible it won't correct itself, but won't continue to newer growth either if you fixed the problem already. I don't know if you will find this helpful or not I know I didn't say much.

u can play with frozen water ....or just add some dutch masters zone per directions (basically chloramines)......or 1 drop bleach /2 gallons -and re-add every 4 days(chlorine) OR invest in a chiller and add a ultraviolet light in line(best method-full proof insurance against pythium root rot)......and oh yes definetly train them girls through vertical scrog and remove light from reflector and go vertical-its all a matter of canopy control in veg which makes for near zero work in flower exept nute changes (dwc) or waterings{super soil}....and like said above you will get nugs from top to bottom-remember all light comes out of bulb in cylinderno light from either end -its just amatter of surrounding that cylinder and directly absorbing 100% of light..... ill take a vertical bulb setup vs any horizontal and smash competions weight and every bud consistant-all dense like "top buds"-no popcorn.......once u go vert u wont revert.....peace
