I was looking these SH Hydroponics > DWC Basic Kit and was wondering how large of plants you could grow in just a 4 gallon res and if it would be any harder or easier using a res this small.

I would say probably up to 5 ft.

You will more than likely have to give the plants support because they will want to lean.

thanks for the input on that and would it be okay to wait on the ppm tester for a bit or should i have it from the get go?
