Ive heard that 68 degrees is proper sir ..I strive to achieve this number but its unattainable alot of the time.. If anything id add a heater or cooler or water bottles to keep this number ur main goal or focus to achieve..68 degrees.. No matter how u achieve this should bring the bes results as well as the easiest controlled jungle grown by dwc standards..
 
Sweet bro recently underwent some of the same problems on a larger scale..My plants stretched thru the roof when i added the additional hps ..Just wish i caught it soon enuff..The frozen bottles do work.. Just gotta make them part of the same robot grow routine and incorporate them as if they are just as important as the rest haha...
Cooler rez temps bring better all around results i should have been pushing this from the start. And there are simple ways to achieve these results without spending all kinds of money.
 
I'm gonna experiment with the rez temp tomorrow. I unplugged the lamp, still running the cfls. I noticed a drop in the water level, maybe due to evaporation. Or my plants are just thirsty. I only robbed 12oz outta the rez to feed my clones. Looks like a gallon has been used since Wednesday.
 
So many variables for sure...Higher room temps will equal faster evaporation..Which leads to higher nute concentrations left in the water... More light the better sir..In any circumstance...
U already know what u need to compensate...Overgrow.
HpsXLower rez temps supplemented to other light sources no matter what the stage of growth is only going to bring better results if u can keep the grow conditions stable.
Man im starting to feel like a grow robot again and it feels nice.
Simple rules to the DWC grow code should be followed, Modified and maintained by all means and whatever actions neccesary.
It doesnt take much to throw a couple few bottles of frozen water in the rez to keep the temps proper..Each day
Keep the light burning and be sure to keep the sunglasses on for sure because the only thing that will become harmfull as long as all conditions are met is the actual light ur eyes will be recieving when u crack the door. Or step into the flower room or whatever..
My friends all think im wierd.. And have no idea why i keep several pairs of sunglasses and either or a few pair of converted strapped snow skiing goggles aroung the house with uv lenses in them.
Sometimes i leave the house with the goggles still strapped to my head cuz i forgot..Thats when i know i have real problems..

Top off but do not add nutes.. Keep temps stable and change ur rez on time i assure these things will all come to pass.
 
DL your on tonight kid fire away kid. Cahnged my the water in both res's tonight or this morning. One of the seedlings died on me I think it was my error. So for right now I only have 2 white russian growing. i would love one male and fem so I could get some seeds from this batch. but 2 fems will be fine also. lol I also secured the top of the buckets down i had them just resting on the top and I think that led to the white slime. Light leak. we will see. If it comes back I will change my nutes I am kinda sick of the powderd nutes.I will go with the GH liquid. I will be switching from maxi veg to maxibloom for 2 weeks when I know the sex. Then i will go to koolbloom for 2 weks and then flush.
 
Hello everyone! How was everyones night!? I fell asleep after I got home from the hydro store and had a much needed rest. I got the CAL-MAG!!!!! I am gonna put it in first thing tomorrow and hope for the best.
 
yeah, bottles seem to work enough for me... My grow room is the basement so in the winter I just keep the res on the floor, it stays at a steady 68 degrees. But when the summer comes I'll be ready. I have a fridge down there so I'll have like twenty frozen water bottles 10 steps away from the res...
 
I haven't sexed the plants yet so I may be pulling one or two out later. The cabinet is getting crowded around the rez. I have room to pull them down towards the area my clones are in.
 
Yea I had to go and conversate with mine real quick....So tech whats ur take on those supercharged engines they are throwing out these days?..... U ever seen one throw a rod?
 
Yo DL and others... After massive nute burn, I have changed my res everyday for 3 days. The PPM finally stopped going up after todays change. My questions are:

1. How long can plants in DWC live on just water? How long until lack of nutrients kills the plants.
2. After nute burn, how long should I wait to start reintroducing nutrients? I was planning on going 1/8 strength pretty soon, maybe tomorrow, but i don't want to mess up the plants further (they are really bad, barely any folliage left)?
