samisery looking real good ! Leggo jelious of your ak's! Dl how long do you flush for a week? couple of days?
Ive always done a 2 week water flush.. Im gonna get some clearex and follow the directions when the time comes..But im definetely waiting until the majority of trichs turn amber. I use organics..My tester nugs honestly dont taste much different than the flushed nugs 2 weeks later. But i have been putting more supplements in my tubs this time so gonna flush properly.

Well I'm flushing right now as we speak... and will probably harvest within the week... trichs just started to turn amber a bit

I thought you were trying a short 3-5 day flush this time DL?! Thats why i didnt flush last week :-/ eek. think I'll be okay??

Yea Leggo ive been researching this flush alot lately.. I think u did good not flushing last week u allowed ur plants to eat one more week and mature bro.
Ive been looking at the 3-5 day flush still dont get me wrong.. I was saying tho theres alot of salts in my new supplements and it seems this is one of the main reasons people flush in the first place.
In the FAQ they actually reccomend a short flush. Sounds like everything summed up this is to allow the plants to use those last weeks to pack on as much wieght as possible.
Flush time it seems is what kinda preference ur after in the high.. the longer u wait for more trichs to turn amber the stronger more cough lock stuck to the couch type of high ur gonna achieve.
Taste preferences depend on the length of the flush it seems. Never really noticed much of a difference in taste cause of the nutes i use. I base that on the before and after flush taste results.
So i think it would better benefit me to allow them to eat, mature and pack on as much wieght till the flush. Its a win situation either way i look at it.

I dont personally like to be stuck on the couch after i smoke..I like the pimp type high ive been accustomed too. Plus i can get out of bed for work the next day.. I may only allow them to go 25 - 50 % amber then flush. Still playing with it.

I just got a whole F-350 ford van for $100. I bet I could grow like a MOFO in there. The block is cracked from dumb fuck using water instead of antifreeze.

Dl I think less amber trichs=more uppidy high and more amber more couchloc, So you would start flushing it for a week when first signs of amber to finish flush at 40-50% amber to get the high your desiring, does this sound right? Just not sure if time between first amber to 40-50% is a week, guess you'd have to grow strain to flower a few times.

Anyone know if I can use jiffy peats in my dwc tub like the coco coir, or should I transplant after roots grow in, dont want water getting full of peat dirt. When I start seeds I usually cut the peat and plant didnt know if anyone has used the jiffy plugs in the netpots w/medium?

All i use is peat plugs tech..Jiffy, botanicaire they are all pretty much the same..
U shouldnt end up with peat scraps in the water if u keep ur water levels proper man..By the end of week 2 of veg mine are usually completely dry. It all depends on placement of plugs in the pots.I leave mine about a half inch below the tops of the pots let the seedling grow out a bit and fill the rest of the way up with hydroton.
Im sure u could do this the same way with any medium in the pots but id reccomend rock and plugs for any DWC grow. I get best results this way.
In my side project thread i did it exactly this way bro.Got roots in my water day 2.
Yes u can take plants from soil and place them in dwc as well..Ive only done this with nute burned soil plants tho..
My clones in a cup of water go directly into the pots with rock so u can do it all kinds of way.For seeds tho fastest results come with the plugs bro.

Cool Dl thats what I thought= just thought there was a difference between jiffy plugs and others, if going in soil no prob. But always germed my seeds in rockwool right in system for mj, doing the tomato grow and started seeds in jiffys allready. Ill give it a shot and see what if anything happens. Sure it will be fine. Thanks for the input bro. I still have to disassemble cabinet to bring light in for this grow. Gonna let water set up overnight tonight for bubbling tomorrow.

My friend MOGIE did this DIY.
1. Black Plastic tub. $8.99 at target. I don't know how many gallons but it's measurements are 18" x 14" and 11" tall, about 8 gallons. You can use a 5 gallon bucket. I have kind of a height restriction in my cabinet so I needed to keep the rez as low as possible. Also, after you modify a 5 gallon bucket to DWC, it really only holds 3.5 - 4 gallons of your solution. This holds 6 gallons. It doesn't seem like that much of a diffrence now but when the plant gets big it will drink a ton. This just makes maintaining the rez easier.IMO.

2. Aquarium air pump. double outlet. $10 at wal-mart.

3. 4' Standard aquarium air line, 2 airstones, 2 .Plastic T-valves, 1 airline suction cup. $5 total also at wal-mart. The two airstoens work fine for one plant, but use much more for more plants.

4. Net cup. 10 for $5.

5. Exacto knife & lighter

6. Power drill & 17/64 drill bit.

The first thing that you want to do is trace a circle, in the center of the lid, Using the bottom of the net cup as a guide.

Next heat the tip of the exacto knife for a minute or two.

Very carefully cut the hole in the lid. You might have to heat the knife a few times. Remember you can always come back make the hole bigger, but if you make it too big, your screwed. So take your time and make sure you stay within the lines.

Put the netcup in the hole . It should be a tight fit.

Drill 1 hole in the side of the tub about an inch from the top. This is for the airline. Do not drill the hole in the lid because you will be taking the lid off to maintain the proper nutrient level & it will be a pain in the ass each time.

Cut 2 pieces of the airline about 4" long each and connect them from the airpump outlets to the t-valve.

Cut another 2 pieces of airline, these about 2-3' long and connect the airstones to the t-valve. Then connect a 2' long piece of airline to the t-valve.

Stick the airstones to the bottom of the tup with the suction cup.

Run the line through the hole you drilled and connect it to the airpump.

The last thing to do is fill the net cup about a third of the way up with grow rocks, lava rocks or any similar medium. Place a cutting of your favorite stain on the rocks, then fill the rest of the cup with your medium.

The nutrient level in your tub should be at the bottom of the net cup. You might have to pour some of the solution through the top for the first few days until the roots grow out. Once they do let, them grow into the water. The airstones will provide enough oxygen. when the plant takes off she will drink a lot of water, so make sure you top the rez daily if you have to. If the level goes down too low you will have ph and overfert issues. Make sure you change the rez out every 2 weeks or when you have added the same amount of water back that the rez holds. Airstones are cheap so replace them every rez change for better results. If you use a bigger rez, you can add more net pots. Just cut more holes and add another or a bigger air pump. I wouldn't put more than six plants per tub.

The growth rate is amazing! These pics are of a 5 week old mother plant. The last is of the stem after I took over 40 clones.

For even faster growth, get a DRIP feeder or a Bubbleponics Irigation Hub and feeder tubes.
