Grow room design was already included in the dwc blueprints sir. Ur lighting design equals ur actual flower space requirements. Ive done 2 plants vegged from seed in one 5 gallon bucket following these simple rules. 50 watts per square ft.

U know when there seedlings I've found that the need for more than one bulb over them in a waste of electricity. I used 2 .....13 watt cfl until the seedlings start to stack. Then I add a cfl each timethe plant gets taller and grows out of the light area.

Alright well i just updated once again the grow room designs required for building a dwc jungle. I forgot about an important page which should have been included in the original set of blueprints concerning lighting.

Just thought id share my happiness with the club! Updated pixels of my clones in the tub. 4 days after transplant to the tub...... Damn this is sick!

Anyone just starting out or are interested in DWC should check this out.DWC for beginners

Grow room Design=Lighting.
An experiment conducted to show the effects of different lighting used during the different stages of growth. Newbie answers to lighting: HPSvsCFL During Flower = Quantity and Quality

Also how to design lighting set-ups for individual grows.
Total reccomended watts/sq.ft. Is 50
Is kinda the same as lumens/sq.ft.
LUMENS/SQ.FT. required for stealth grow?



Heres a very simple way to get started in DWC> DIY HYDRO.DWC= Build ur own.Easiest method of HYDRO simple,inexpensive and easy.
Keep in mind U can replace the tub with a bucket and get a cheapy Air pump with stone for 20 bux less.

On Edit: Heres a simple way people can clone in DWC> Cloning in a cup of water.

ya i need to look up more lighting stuff today befor i buy any thing

iam just liking the abilty to talk to people that grow seeing as i can not realey go around work and ask if any one grows

SUp guys... dayumm.... everytime I come check out the thread there are so many pages I have to catch up on... not on the mac much in the evenings lately.

I'm due for a post/pics on my journals, but the girls are doing good, except Sway is TALL... she was 10" at day one of 12/12 and now she is 30" (THREE TIMES!!) in less than two weeks. eek. Rigging the HPS to raise up today...

Also, I asked this in my thread, could a bud be 'pregnant' with two different strains of seeds? Because there is a chance these seeds dad was actually a white widow/orange bud cross... could one or two be pure AK-47 and one only be a half sister??

There mom was a hermie...

I have studied on breeding plants..I get that if a plant is pollinated that the seeds are of the cross of the 2 plants.. I dont think it is possable that some seeds in same plant that was pollinated by another plant can have some seeds one type while a seed in the same bud is different..what ever the pollinated plants are then you can figure a cross of the 2. now u can take a daughter of cross and pollinate to same strain as father was and bring the cross back to more the father side..same with a male from cross to mother plant of the cross and get back to more the mother's strain. three quarters and 1 quarter.

hmmmm.Yea maybe what he meant to say is that if u had a male from 2 different strains in the same room as a mother.I think it would be possible for the males to cross pollinate the female.Furthermore, I think that yea 2 males could also pollinate the same flower as well.Thats just my take but im no expert.

I'm sorry for being confusing..let me try it like this. say you have two dogs (red nose pit)mom and (blue pit)dad.....the puppies will be half (red nose)and half (blue pitt).... now if you take the daughter and inbreed a daughter back to dad you get 3/4 dad(blue pitt) and 1/4 mom(red nose pitt.. opposite if you breed son back to mom (3/4 red nose) and (1/4 blue)....same with plants as animals .....

I cloned the girls today as you suggested ONTHEDL0008..

I took the 2 lowest branches off each of the plants check the pics out.. I only took pics of 2 of the plants clones!

Bro thats awesome man. Id clip the tips of the fan leaves.Ive found this seems to make them want to concentrate more on root developement. Just the tips bro.

Well yeah theres my update for the day, oh and i also changed the reservoirs nutes from bc grow to bc bloom WOOO HOOO
