I'm chopping 2 Barney's Farm LSD plants today. They grew to 4 1/2 feet much to my surprise, and stretched more than I would like. But I would guess they are going to give 3 oz dry each. They claim LSD is mostly indica but they sure look like sative.

i think im going to give a simple two 5 gallon bucket dwc set-up a go in the new year. i found one that is already constructed, it comes with a 5" round topfin airstone with elite 801 air pump. it has a 8" net pot lid. Now i would like a suggestion for an easy nute to use and what would be a good first time strain to go with that would be really potent? what meters i would need and how much light would be good for these two plants?

GHOPZZ IM finishing my first dwc grow, and i used botanicare cns 17. 3-2-4 for veg, and was very happy with it. and it was 10 bucks for a quart. as for a strain i am growing dutch passion blueberry, and she responded very well to dwc. for flowering i only used jamaican bat guano teas, and molassas. i have current pics under my profile. good luck.

what light did you use? could i get away with cfls? how many would br good? are they better than t5's?

hello fellow grower's. It's my first indoor grow and I chose DWC, I've ran into problems that resulting in about 3 weeks stunted growth but my roots have finally hit the res so I've got a question.

Between transplanting my seedling (a small rock wool cube) into the 6" netpot and when the roots hit the res solution exactly what should I do/use to insure great root growth so that I'm not staring at struggling plants the aren't without the food they need?

sup everyone this is my first attempt at hydroponics. i think this is called a dutch drip system...an air stone will be placed in reservoir to help aerate the water so drip can be cut back to a few 15 min intervals each day.

i just transplanted a bubba kush clone and fed 300 ppm of GH maxigro. a little humic acid and some calmag. total ppm was around 450 with ph of 6. plant will go from clone straight to 12/12. is this ok with hydroponics or should i have a veg time?

let me know what you think of my do it urself project. if you think i am doing something wrong let me know eh? can anyone point me to a good drip/dwc tutorial link?

hey GHOPZZ i started them out with cfl's 2, 42 watt, 6500k was the color. then after they were 3 weeks old, i put them under a 400 watt hps. but they loved the cfl light. its not too much for tender seedlings. i hace a 400 watt mh, but i like vegging with cfl's better. oh and i used only 2 cfl's. but for 3 plants i would have liked 4 cfl's better.use as many as you want and keep em like 3 inches away from the plants.

Total wet weight was 1,515 grams..:-P

Main Cola was 20 inches long and weighed in at 187.1 Grams...
To paraphrase my dear old dad - if I was getting colas like that and you had a feather up your butt, we'd both be tickled to death! :-P
