dwc grower trying soil,, little advice needed if poss:)

thanks for dropping in, i have grown for years using dwc or rockwool with great success, the other week a friend dropped off a girl in soil to me. it is in a soil with nutes that last for the first six weeks, according to bag it came in. it is past the six week mark now and they have been in flower for one week.
Responding great to the change over and leaves smiling and reaching up for the light, plenty of growth with good colour. however i know that i will now be needing to add some nutes soon.
I only have ionic nutes for hydro, nt wanting to use that really,,, do i repot now into another soil medium with nutes mixed already into it? should i just purchase soil nutes?
is there a point where u can see the plant will need the added nutes? or is it just guess work,,, im worried about this as i know that in dwc if i over fert it no prob, jus empty bucket and give straight water, sorted,, however soil is a different ball game surely? they must be ok at mo cos they happy as a plant in soil lol... jus pre emptive strike so 2 speak

Geneeral Hydroponics makes a great organic line. Better for soil, but hydro also. You can get everything you need from seed to flower in thier one box for $30 called the ""Go" Box" Its all organic, easy to use, and works great for soil. I havent tried it in hydro, but does GREAT for soil. I think the go box comes with 9 bottles or organic nutes. Hope this helps, and dont be stingy pushing that 6 pointed star! hahahahaha

cheers d loc , have used gh for dwc with gd results, didnt realise there was a soil version.. jus wonderin really how long shud i wait b4 giving some nutes,, when in soil what sort of window do u have with plant having enough nutes to not having enough? in dwc it can be 24hrs ,

The go box is for hydro or soil.... you can start the nutes whenever the soil goes dry. Start off witha very minimal amount of nutes to start with, and slowly over a few weeks increase it to a normal amount. If you know what strain it is, do some research on it and see what ph and nutrient ppm amount is ideal for that strain. Soil is very forgiving, so if you mess up a little its not too hard to fix. Just be patient and treat it like a baby and you'll be fine. I usually keep ph at around 5.8-6.0. usually cant go wrong there.... and ppm i keep at around 800. Every plant is different and climate is different so youre going to have to figure out whats best for your girl. Wont take you long to figure it out though. Oh, and make sure you keep it at a photoperiod of 18:6. That will reduce stress on the plant and help it from ending up a herm. Good luck. Again, that rep is only a click away hahaha
