DWC lower small leaves dieing.

The tops of the plants look great... but from about half way down the leaves are starting to die.. it doesnt seem to affect the larger older fan leaves at the bottom as much as the small ones.

They have been flowering for a week and a half.

I am using Flora Nova Bloom at 2tsp per gallon with a 18 gallon rez.

Anyone know what this might be?

I keep the ph between 5 and 6.

The ph seems to creep down, within the first 5 days of a water change. So I have to add ph up.

Whats your ppm?!
If your ph got down u feed them more than maximum nut
but lower small leafs not prb they didnt have enough light to

I don't know what the ppm is... I have a meter coming...

after doing some research... i think that it is probably over feeding. even though im following the directions for the second strongest amount... not the strongest.

I have also been raising the ph to about 6.5 each night...
for the past 2 nights.. i raised it to 6.5 and by the next night it is back at 5.

Once I get the meter i will be able to figure this thing out better. But the top of the plants are rocking it! they are not showing any problems. And the bottoms seem to be turning around with the larger amount of ph up.

Confused !!!
Which one do u use (soil or hydro)?
If u use soil 6.8PH
If u use hydro 5.8PH
....

********((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((If your ph got down ,U r over feed them ,raise down your nut (ppm or E/c)ASAP******
IF not u will burn your plants in 1-2 days

Dont use the shitty air stones, they will make your ph go up and down.
Something in the material of the air stone that does it.

I think its just too much air movement on lower sections that are not getting light penetrating...just my .02 ;)

How does the canopy of the plant look? Are there any spots, I couldn't see well in the pics but I don't see any burn or anything---so they might just be lower and not getting light and since this is flowering the plant kinda says eff those dark ass baby branches...lol.

I agree that the plants are doing well above the canopy. I just continue to have new growth below that starts to shrival and die. But it is weird... Cause the plant takes very long to drop these dead leaves. These leaves are not hard, just collapsed and darker then normal. Then after a few days they start to dry out and fall off.

Just to let everyone know...

My tps meter came in and my ppm was at 3k.... (way high)

I have since cut down the feeding to 1 tsp per gallon instead of 2 tsp.

I have been running the 1 tsp for three days now and my stats are...

day 1 (fresh change): ppm 1000, ph 6.0
day 2 : ppm 1350, ph 6.5
day 3 : ppm 1400, ph 5.5 --- i added some ph up and the ph is now 6.5

the plants still have a lot of small dead leave...but there is some new small lower growth that looks fine now.....the tops have always looked good.
