Advice Needed

ok so tonight i went to check out my flowering room, after 1 1/2 days of being sick as shit! and as i was doing my rounds i checked my rez on my dwc bubbler, and the airpumps were off!! Not a 100% on how long for but i think it was the full 1 1/2 days judging by the roots. There still white but they have these little like bumps on them? I really hope this isnt a big deal but im imagining it is, no oxygen to them cant be good. I appreciate the advice, and peoples expertise for this is my firsy DWC grow, and my second grow period, still trying to fine tune my shit. Hope you guys can see the pics!!! Thanks

Looks like your getting some root rot. Theres a couple ways you can try to fix it. Sterilization products such as H202 or Dutch Master Zone or even bleach. The other route would be to use beneficial bacteria and fungi such as GH subculture B and subculture M. I've used pretty much all the sterilization products and had the best results with DM zone. I've never tried using the beneficials to fight off an already established case of root rot but I have used them for a preventative measure which seems to work well. I have heard of other people having success getting rid of root rot using them.

Im using beneficial bacteria to fight off brown slime algae and it seems to be working, In the past I had a case with root rot from root stressed cause by transplanting from a top feed to a DWC mid flower, I used H2O2 and SM-90 It took a few weeks but most of the girls came back, out of 8 I lost 2.

I personally think the way to go is probably Beneficial bacteria, It seems to be the one thing that will cure any root problem.

If your using the powders you can put them into a sock and tie it up and throw it in there, or you could just mix it directly in the reservoir. Either way should be fine really.

root rot for sure , u need a shit load of air in the res and add some hydrogen peroxide 50% food grade stuff.your hydro store will sell it , it sterilizes the pathogens and helps aid oxygen uptake

I had the same thig happen to me,my air was off for 36hrs,my plants survived it but I didnt have root rot, mine were 6 weeks into flower when it happend and it took 2 or 3 days for them to bounce back fully.I would work on that root rot or you will loose them. good luck

Another way to help avoid the rot for hydro when it's an option, just gently spray the roots with fresh Water to clean them when u flush.
