Hi guys ill bring you a question

im doing a sog type grow in a 80x80 cm tent.
in one half im doing an ebb and flow with 12 clones in a 40x60 tray.
in the other side im putting two plastic boxes (their are already thick and with color, no lights came in the box.
tha thing is they are 40x33x20 cm (16 liters each), but the thing is to the top of the netpots its 10 lts. So the i think ill use it with 8lts when the roots come down, i have put 6 3,75'' netpots and im putting clones in them straight into flowering.

The question is, would i be fine with a 8 to 10 lts reservouir for 6 clones putted straight into flowering under a AF-135, prettending to change the res every week.?

hope you can help me

thanks guys!!

2-2 1/2 gallons is not enough for a single plant much less 8-10. You will work ur ass off just to have continuous ph and ppm problems.

Thanks guys i have changed for the 30lts box (same one but with bigger space) so i will be using like 20lts at first and 15 when the roots came down!
I can use up to 22lts aprox. So for 6 clones straight to flowering i think they have enough space? Im doing 6 clones in each and 12 in ebb and flow. So 24 clones in totall.
hope to get great results, maybe better than with the ebb.

thanks guys

Why are u lowering the water level? It is dwc which means deep water culture, no need for air pockets.
Super stoner could you guide me, were should be the water level, touching the base of the netpots? i have read sometimes they lower the water level so the roots grow faster trying to reach water.
need your guide here.

Thanks!

I start with 5 gallons and let the plant eat it down to about 1-1/2 gallons then start over. But im lazy and never worry about them much. I check ph every 4-5 days and no res temp control just room temps. Never had rot except for first grow years ago then i discovered bennies.

Thanks Super stoner the reserve is about 6 gallons so im good, i let the girls drank the water untill 2 galons.
Maybe ill put a 25watts heater for each, here we are in winter so the temps get down to 17 in the indoor and in the water down to 15 so the heater is a must.

Thanks again for your help!!

Never, ever use a heater in your res. This comes from experience the hard way. The area around the heater will be much warmer and will become a breeding ground for bad shit. I thought my cloner needed one in the winter and almost lost 8 different strains.
