DWC reservoir size?

I was going to go with one of Filthy's 10 site aeroponic units, but after talking with a few people who have used them locally I have decided to just try DWC. What size rubbermaid container do I need for a 10 site unit with 3" netpots? I know I need a larger one, but how do the larger containers hold up with a large amount of water in them? Is there a better brand to use than others? Any info is appreciated!

Right now I've got a big rubbermaid tub (20gal I think) inside another rubbermaid tub about half it's height.. The smaller one keeps the big one from bowing on the sides. I put 16gal in every two weeks, adding 8gal water only at the one week point, for my 10 girls.

Thanks nuggies, just what I needed to know. Does your PH stay stable for the most part?

I check the pH every 3 days or so and it's off by .5 or so, so I just bring it back to the level I want it at. If you don't have a digital pH meter, go get one! I bought one on ebay for pretty cheap.

most people say 3 gallons of water per plant but the bigger bin you get the more it will bow. I use rubbermaid brute containers love em.
