not a problem man glad i could help, ya definitely when top feeding the run off that was going back to the bucket was what was giving you those crazy readings and what was causing the deficiencies in the start was that the water that was being trapped in the rock wool to feed the roots was prably to high so she was locked out then once you ran some ph stable water through the RW and it stablized, bam, she took off not a big deal new growth looks healthy good job so far should be smooth sailing now just watch her grow lol. you going to start a journal of this grow??

Got your PM but couldn't find your pics until now. Looking good.

I FIM'ed the first batch and just LST'd my plants in flower. LST was stupid simple. I just Hot Glued a Zip Tie to the lid, gently bent the plant over and tied it down with the Zip Tie. Got 4-5 mains growing on each one. Piece of cake.

The only hydro experience I have is the~water by hand method~ :lol:

Hell yea man thanx. yours r lookn mean and green. . I feel like such a dunce man, not soaking my rockwool in ph'd water. Elementary shit but I was in a hurry to get it going. Next attempt will be better. That hot glue zip tie is pretty genius bro. My bucket lids came with that damn ring that seals the bucket to the lid after u close it. It has all kind of holes in it. I just took some fishing line and tied it to a hole then put a breadtie on and its workn pretty good. I love dwc now that everythings straight tho. definitely gonna be running it more. Wassup mr ghetto grower. Yea man I upped her nutes to 420 last night, what a coincidence lol. I have called the water department here and they said the ph of the water is 6.8 at room temp. So I used that and my ph meter was dead on. I was too paranoid to ask about ppm but my ppm meter supposedly is factory cal. I'm definitely gonna invest in some Cal solution for both in the near future. But the new growth is actually lookn right imo. Maybe cause I just want it to lol

Make your own lids with Gray Lids from Lowe's and 6 inch net pots. Just use a jig saw to cut the hole in the lid. You'll like them a lot better than the Hydro Store lids or Home Depot lids. I know I do and they are cheaper.

Ah its cool. These lids work awesome man. With that on there it seals it from light and its easy to take off. I don't snap it all the way on. I'm bout to do an update on my flowering plants if ud actually like to c some bud lol. They're in soil tho. Check out the link in my sig if ud like.
