I let my buds dry a few days then l lay them loose in paper grocery bags until ready for jars & everyone has a preferred method that works at their locations & the time of the year summers are very dry here so what works for me might not be best for you I'm sure you'll get something together that you can live with you've done good thus far there is not a doubt you'll pull it off I'm fighting heat & there was a lot of 105+.f days in July & august is rocking it with more of the same I'm seriously thinking of shutting down until mid sept. or growing in tupur

Yea I moved to room outside of grow room for drying. Box fan pulls air into grow room so it seems to be keeping the smell from spreading through the house. Stays between 60-70F 50-55% humidity

Ooooo didn't really how realize how poor of a selection I had made on my trimming utensils until I picked up a nice little surgical type. Much faster and can get in tighter. Had another portion dry which was another 8.2g. So up to 13.1g and still have this drying, to keep in mind for tonight's pictures.

No I'm chopping bits and pieces one to test out drying spots and two different harvest points. The big one I haven't touched yet.

If your in a medical state id check your city ordinance, because most of us are not even aloud to check trichs till day 56. Plants are beast Tho, your city mayor would be proud as fuck most likely.

Yea I think I got plenty drying for now. I do have them in fresh water so they can start to canobalize them self. Too early?

This is all kind of confusing trichs seemed nearly 100% cloudy but it seems to be a general consensus I'm early.

I think the whole early/late/on time thing is really relevant to peoples personal taste of when they like their buds. If you plan on growing this strain again maybe stagger your harvest over time to get different levels of trichs and figure out when you like this strain.
Also not sure what you are using to determine "cloudiness" but since this is your first grow its very likely that what you think is cloudy is actually not fully cloudy to a trained eye. Most harvest guides I have read usually claim there is a good 10-20% amber when you harvest so maybe its true you need some more time if you want to believe that 20% amber is the correct time to harvest

Harvesting now (Day 45) would be too early with any strain I am familiar with. Seven weeks still sounds a bit early and eight weeks sounds about right to start looking to chop.
It won't kill your plants to grow them another week and a half at least, you might even take it the full nine.

Yes Kontra it's very possible my untrained eyes are telling me they are fully cloudy when they aren't. I guess I'm just nervous because I know this bud can carry a very heavy high and don't want to be letting it go to long to add to it. This isn't the plant I'm growing next round but will be a go to as I know it taste good is potent and yields good. It is a strain my guy has kept around for years.
