gonna need either serious bennies or sterility to keep away root rot. i'm guessing you don't plan on chilling it? just outside temps for res temps?
Yes that's what I was thinking. If it is going to be a problem I will pass. Lol

I was just thinking about giving it a try. I can keep it indoors. Just thought about taking advantage of the sun.

i don't know for sure. i saw some pics of a guy in AZ that buried his res's in the dirt to keep them cool.

i would go for something like chlorine (hth pool shock) and let her rip.

i've done hempy buckets outside in my g'house with chlorine. grew some huge ass tomato plants in them.

If you can't bury your tote into the dirt, you can try using bubble insulation foil to prevent light going in and also to keep it cooler.
