Dying Crispy Leaves......

Hey all... I want to thank everyone in advance for any tips or advice given... I have been growing this plant for about 6 weeks and it was doing pretty good up until about a week ago when the leaves began to die and crisp up. I am growing in an all purpose soil called Farmer's Organic and was using Alaska Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 for the most part. I, on the advice of a friend, used a chemical fertilizer called Grow More Tomato Food 18-18-21 just under two weeks ago and then this happened. The ph runoff was at 6.6 when I last fed. I'm not sure of the strain because the seeds were given to me from a friend and he didn't remember what they were... typical!! I do know that this plant is very tricky to grow. I've had my issues with it since the beginning. I am likely going to end up flushing... when in doubt, right? Anyhow... I was hoping someone can tell me what type of problem I am having. Is it a deficeincy, or nute burn, or something else? I've checked lots of sites and I can't seem to identify a specific problem. I thought maybe phosphorous def... but I can't be sure. I hope these pics will shed some light on the issue with some experienced growers... Any help will be greatly appreciated... thanks!

Thanks for the reply... I have actually looked at both of those and while they are excellent info, I still couldn't pinpoint the exact problem I am having. Do you have any thoughts on the problem?

Flush flush flush flush.
Then start a weak nute schedule for 5 days then move back up to full strength.
I'd say Potassium and phosphorous deficiency. More than likely lockout due to build up of salts ...
Where exactly are you in relation to veg flowering times and what is the EC of your Feed ?

I did have issues with both phoshorous and potassium defs with this plant about 3 wks ago. After I flushed, the plant recovered quick and grew rapidly... do salts build up that fast? I flushed them again earlier tonight, so hopefully I will have the same success. I have been vegging under a 400w MH for about 5.5 wks. I am planning on letting it veg for two or three more weeks (still training it) and then switching over to 12/12. I don't know what the EC is. I don't have a meter for that.

Flush, add Mg supplement and find a more stable source of K. Some organic fertilizers don't play well with synthetic fertilizers. If your grow is 100% organic you should be brewing a tea or mixing a solution that fixes it's own ph. If you are using organic qualified products with synthetics added (unlike your fish emulsion) you should adjust your pH with buffers until it's 5.8-6.3.

Thanks for the advice... Would you mind presenting me with a few ideas for a more "stable source of K"? I would like to keep it organic from now on. I only used this chem fert once. Is there something I should add in addition to the fish emulsion when vegging (for my next grow)?
