Dying plant leaves and turning yellow

I've seen a few threads about yellowing plants in the past, but usually these people are giving their plants too many nutrients or are burning them with lights that are too close.

My plants are about 5-8 weeks old, 10-20cm tall (4-8 inches), indica strain, 20/4 light cycle under 240W of CFL light. I've been watering either every day of every 2 days, no nutrients or fertiliser, grown in soil (not miracle grow.)

The lower leaves of my plants started to turn yellow, and some of these are starting to shrivel up. Every day it seems another leaf is starting to turn yellow, despite the plant continuing to grow more healthy leaves at the top.

Anybody have any ideas why this might be happening?

No, I jave been had the saem situation, I tried to feed mine and jsut ended p nute burning it, then I had to flush it. The leaves will be yellowing from the bottom up then shriveling just let it go and remove them when all the green is gone from them, they are no longer needed by the plant. If it's growing healthy then everything is fine. Don't make the same mistake I did.

i have also been having this issue lately, going to a new nute mix has been a bit dodgy for me and for the last fortnight has been back and forth too much nutes then not enuf nutes. i really think its time for me to invest in an ec meter.
