Dyna Gro Bloom dropping PH to 4?!

Added 100ml to 10 gallons of 6.0, RO water. It dropped the PH to 4!

Any ideas why? I'm letting it sit for a while to see if it changes - I have PH up, but it seems weird that it would be that acidic.

did u add pro tekt? my water starts out around 7.4 and after i add pro tekt it goes to about 9.0. u should look into adding this to ur grow/bloom. just make sure u add the pro tekt 1st and mix it good before adding ur grow/bloom

I did use pro tekt - didn't know you were supposed to add it first. Whats really weird is the Fox Farms dropped real low too - maybe they figure most people have PH 7-8 water and they should lower it? Mine is naturally 8, but the RO makes it perfect, so then the nutes fuck it up =/

Dyna-Gro bloom is very low PH it brings my 7.0 water to about 4.5 usually then i mix my protekt in a seperate 5 gal to 8.5ish

You're suppose to pH the solution after you add the nutes. And the reason it drops the pH so low in RO water is because you filtered out all the pH buffering ions, whereas tap water has buffers so doesnt slip as much.

Also swinging your water from 4.5 to 8.5 isnt a good idea, think of the precipitates! ;)
