dyna-gro nutes anyone????

I've heard lots of things about the dyna-gro line of nutes, just wondering if anyone here uses them? I was lookin at running the foliage-pro then the bloom, is there any thing you add to the bloom for a boost. I've been using GH for about a year with decent results , BUt i have about 10 different bottles of crap. thinking that 3 or 4 would be a lot easier for me and the plant:weed: any input is welcome.

also if you know a good spot to get it let me know

I'm currently looking into the Dyna-Gro line. Their Foliage pro seems to have a nice NPK balance of 9-3-6 but I'm not sure about Foliage feeding. I've never done it before. When you feed directly into the growing medium you know how much you're putting in but foliage feeding....?

I use dynagro Foliage Pro. It's not intended as a foliar feed. I'm running it in hydro right now at 900 ppm and it is absolutely the best veg formula I've ever used. The leafy greenness of my plants is night and day compared to the way they were before using FF growbig. I need to add a bloom nute and I would like to try Dynagro's bloom formula but I have lots of Tiger Bloom left so I'm going with that. Plus the source I found is megagreenhouse supply co. and I prefer a more discreet shipper. It's hard to accept packages with a return address like that in the dead of winter!

I meant exclusively, or even primarily, as a foliar feed. Regardless, it makes your plants look like this:

I see.

What growing medium are you using?
I've read that Dyna-gro can cause PH problems in hydroponic set ups. What do you think about this?

Those plants in the center of the picture are in perlite hempy buckets. The ones to the right sitting on pink insulation are in a CAP ebb and grow, so they are in hydroton. I've seen the argument that too much ammonium nitrate in Foliage Pro causes problems in water, but I'm not sure what those problems would manifest as. I haven't experienced those problems as you can see. You can bet that if I do, I'll be switching to another formula.

Oh and the plants that are peeking in from the left edge of the picture are in promix/perlite 60/40. The definitely like foliage pro as well. I'm not doing some insane comparative experiment, it just worked out this way as I transition to pure hydro.

Dyna Gro makes a bloom booster called Mag-pro. The name is a bit misleading as it contains High P, a little bit of N and some K as well. It does contain Magnesium and Sulfur as well. It's not a complete fert so it should be used with a nutritionally complete regimen. :weed:

That's an interesting formula 2-15-4. Could just use it on top of Foliage Pro and you would need nothing else for flowering. No need for cal-mag, and you get the extra P you need. Sold! I'm gonna check it out.

that sounds like it might just be a winner I'm going to give it a shot in, oh about 2 months.

anyone have a good source for the foliage and mag-pro.I spent about half an hour looking and cant find a place with both in the gallon size, seem like about $50 for foliage and $60 for mag

how long do you plan on a 32oz jug lasting? will it make a 4 week veg and flower cycle?I'd like to get gallons at least of the foliage

Right now I have two reservoirs totalling 70 gallons. Changed biweekly. Also ten gallons or so of nuted water weekly for miscellaneous hempy plants (7 weeks into flower, so almost done) and 6 plants in soil. Since January I've used about 1/3 gallon of Foliage Pro. When I'm 'finished' in 4 weeks or so I'll have used about 1/2 gallon of FP, I'm not bringing in the mag-pro until the next cycle.(like, right away).

The recommended dosage for mag-pro is 1/4 to 1 tsp. per gallon in combination with a complete fertilizer like foliage pro. I'll be running 10 or 12 plants in the ebb and grow exclusively. No more soil or hempy. So at 1 tsp per gallon 32 oz will treat 96 gallons of nutrient solution, good for two reservoir changes. I should have bought two jugs. I can probably still change the order.

I don't know what you mean by 4 week veg and flower cycle??
