Dyna-gro Nutrients

Are you guys familiar with their nutrients?

After reading a lot on the internet I decided to buy their product. I just want to go simple with my growing and dont want a lot of aditives and fancy bottles with fancy names.

This is what I purchased:

I also buyed a bottle of Cal-Mag since Im using RO water.

So, can somebody recomend a good schedule using sunshine mix?

My plant is 2 weeks old and I just watered her 2 times. One after planting the germinated seed (dyna-gro 40ppm and protekt 10ppm - 50ppm total) and one after she completed 1 week since she sprouted (60 ppm grow, 12ppm protekt and 8ppm of cal-mag - 80ppm total)

Tomorrow she complete 2 weeks but the pot didnt dry out yet so Im gonna wait a little bit to water her again.

this numbers are based on the 0.5 scale. Also my RO water is 3ppm

Thanks everyone!

you'd have been better off getting foliage pro for veg vs their grow formula. but it will work for sure.

just be careful. it is VERY concentrated. for seedlings and small plants, i only use about 1 to 1.5mL/gal of the foliage pro.

give a shout out to @homebrewer and if you ask nicely, he might give some suggestions on how best to use grow and bloom from seedlings to harvest.

bear in mind, sunshine mix has nutes in it and your seedling doesnt need anything for 2-3 weeks after sprout. I would water only for a week or two
Didnt know about that. I thought it was inert. So you say I should water just with plain RO? But RO doesnt got almost anything (3ppm) so no buffers, the ph would be flutuating doesnt it?

My tap water is 350ppm+ so I need to stick with RO water.

How much in ppm would be that? I just measure nutes with ppm, dont use ml per gallon.

You would be better off mixing your water and ro water 50/50. In the end it will give it more minerals and be a lot easier to maintain ph

Im kind paraoid about my tap water. Almost sure that it has something funky in it. My previous grow was a mess and I was just using tap. Now things are way way better at the 2 week so far. Do you think 50 - 80ppm is to much for 2 weeks old seedling?

For straight water or nute water?

Also I would at least try to bring the ppm to around 100 150 in the ro water with your well water

Nute water. I just watered 2 times since it sprouted. she will be 2 weeks tomorrow. First week I mix 50ppm into my RO water, second week 80ppm.
It won't hurt anything as long as the ph is good, that's why I don't use ro water anymore unless it's mixed.

Nutes make the ph in ro water drop really fast and it takes a lot to bring it back up where the mixed ro water doesn't drop so far when mixed with nutes

I see your point. First I mix pro tekt and it brings the ph to 6.9 -7.1 them I mix the grow formula and brings back to 5.9 - 6.2

the ph of my Ro water starts on 6

In the beggining I always measure the runnof and is always 6.7 rock steady. Probably because of sunshine mix.
