HB, so during flower you run roughly 400-500 ppm ( varying with strains)? Granted my grape god clone is a fairly heavy feeder, if I do not feed her at least in the 600's she will start to yellow pre-maturely; I like to maintain a healthy amount of green. Whereas my WWxBB are a little more sensitive, and get N overdose fairly quickly, so I feed her with in the 500's.
After reading your advice and others', using primarily DG gro has been amazing this grow session. Girls are super healthy; I just want to try and fine tune the tit for tat kinda stuff.

Dyna Only. Thank you HB. I converted because of your wonderful journals. Was running botanicare before. It was OK......But I have never had healthier better yielding plants since I switched Dyna....Even the hydro store guys said, "best kept secret in the industry". I concur.

Looks great. FWIW, many years ago I started singing its praises, that was at and in the first cannabis forums to hit the internet like marihemp.com, OG, and CW and my trolls flamed me to no end for saying it was a better deal and product than current stuff like the GH, Lucas Formula, Canna stuff they were using. Then came along AN and the snake oil fever really revved up....then Humboldt. Now everyone and his brother has hopped on this band wagon trying to make a buck. Nothing wrong with making a buck so long as you're not ripping off people. Of course, we all make choices. Glad you came around.

Grow hard,
UB

All you need is foliage pro, protekt, and mag pro if using RO water.
Maybe toss in some KLN for early veg and possibly neem oil for pests.
What type of NPK are you running in flower when using that Mag Pro? It seems super high in P. Can Epsom salts be used instead?

Can someone please help me out with mixing ratios for bloom and grow using regular blumats? is it possible to use dyna grow in such a device or is it just gonna clog the lines up?

What all are you using?
I would like to try the foliage pro next run. But currently I'm using pro tekt, gro, a VERY small amount of mag-pro every 3rd or so watering and the bloom. HOWEVER, as HB and UB have said many times: the flower formula does NOT have enough N to keep your fan leaves green through harvest.....SO I do a 75/25 mix of gro/bloom the FIRST half of flower. The SECOND half of flower I reverse this so I'm using 75/25 bloom/gro.

I have added floralicious and liquid karma and sea green in conjunction (seperate runs of each not all at once)......I think they can be helpful but are not needed. I think the sea green from primordial was the most beneficial.

Hey RIU,

So, just throwin my two cents, just finished a grow with Dyna Grow, Bloom, Pro-tek and Mag pro. Just like what ^^^^Brek said, having that little bloom IMO really helps pack on some weight in the mid/end of flowering cycle. I did a side by side one Grape God on Dyna-Grow, from start--> finish vs. A grape god with a mix of gro and bloom. Not everything was a "complete" control obviously, but plants were roughly the same diameter and height. Also about the same number of nodes.
The buds on the Grape God with the bloom mixture added in, really swelled up. :) probably the biggest nugs I have harvested to date, so a huge smile on my face when I was trimming it. The buds without the bloom looked great, but didn't look as swollen. The yield difference was about 25% ( 200 grams vs 150 grams), smell and trichome development was roughly the same.

I am really interested to try Foliage Pro, just got my bottle in from Amazon. Also picked up their KLN for cloning specifically.

Quick question: I am going to try running two 5 gal DWC's soon, I want to obviously keep using DG products, but when running hydro with DG, would it be helpful to add any sort of Great White or XG's version?

Based on your results, I don't know that trying Foliage Pro makes a lot of sense.

Hey HB,

Trying Foliage Pro would just be an experiment, I have just read alot of good things about it, and want to dick around with a quart of Pro. To speak the honest truth, I did not get it solely for my MJ, but for my egg plants and a coca plant I am growing. Both need alot of N during whilst they are blooming.
But, the plant I do want to try it on is the Grape God, this strain always seem to absorb all the N I give her; thus, I would be interested to see any difference between DG's Gro vs Foliage Pro, primarily in mid veg stage (about 3 weeks in for me).

I did not like the fol. pro in hydro. Too much N i think.

^^^ thx man. I have about to do a two bucket RDWC with an igloo cooler for a res and two 5 gal buckets. Our temps have been pretty warm and can't personally afford an a/c bill, thus, I have been reading big igloo coolers are a good alternative option.

I was thinking foliage pro might be to high in N for dwc, but so far I have used it on my actual veggies, and they freakin love it. Gonna start it out on one of Grape gods in pro mix, crossin my fingers for good results.
