Can this be used in a hydroponic system with hydroton as the medium? I think I know the answer but had to ask. Thanks
It can be used but it just depends on the hydroponic system. If you are placing the granules directly on the grow cube or growing media in which the plant sits and then it will be perfect. If you are in a DWC system though you can’t just pour the product into the bucket because everything will sink to the bottom. Therefore you would need to introduce the fungi as early as possible and get them to touch the roots. They need to get established on the routes.

Definitely would like to participate… i am planning some new seed starts soon in a layered mix with EB Stone Recipe 420 base. I have used competitor versions like MYKO extreme Great White and would be interested in testing yours.

Basic setup can be grow bag side by side. One being a straight standard ( as I do currently ) and other can be inoculated with your Dynomyco.

Something similar to this ….

First of all, thank you for the amazing opportunity to try your product. My motivation for wanting to use your product is always wanting what my girls like best. And how will I ever know what they like most if I don't give them every opportunity I can? I would be more than happy to do a daily or weekly side by side comparative grow just for you wonderful folks! I will be running 1 Creme de la Chem and 4 GassiAuto just as soon as I finish my current grow(1-2 more weeks). I grow in a 3x3 tent with a 600w mh/hps, air-cooled hood. But I also just got a 315w CMH fixture so I may be making that switch as well. They will be grown in a living soil with KNF inputs that I make myself. Currently using cheapo mycos from some chicken manure supplement I got at an Earl May. I also just got my Great White in the mail, so I could even do the side x side using the 3 different products. These will be in 3 gallon fabric grow bags.
Again, I thank you so much @aridynomyco for offering to do this giveaway for us! Good luck to everyone and happy growing!!!!!

i replied to your DM but maybe you could answer this in a public thread:

will southern ag garden friendly fungicide kill mycos?

I thought I'd jump in because I was curious about this last year. Southern Ag GFF is just Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens, which is a plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. I've used them together quite a bit for the past few grows with great results. This study uses a different arbuscular mycorrhizae sp, but there is a strong synergistic effect. B. Amyloliquefaciens is a "mycorrhiza helper bacteria." https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6312232/

There are a few other studies looking at the same interaction: https://fungalbiolbiotech.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40694-019-0086-5
and
plus several others

Hey rkymtnman

Since there are no scientific studies that test this specific strain, we can't assure compatibility. Nonetheless, studies show that other strains of B. amyloliquefaciens do coexist with mycorrhiza and when inoculated together they indeed contribute to plant health, environmental stress reduction, and overall increase in nutrient uptake.

Good luck everyone. I'm out since I do no-till and don't remove my rootball. I try not to disturb the fungal hyphae network. Looks like good stuff though.

Okay, so I might not be able to do the contest because I started early and also don't have a side by side-I had already added Dynomyco to my seed hole when I first planted these, so I just decided to roll them all in it like I usually do. I like to transplant while moist and roll the plants in it rather than add to the hole, just easier for me to hit most of the root ball this way:

Let me know if I can still be in the contest without a control group. I still would love the Dynomyco merch!!

Nice. I premake the new hole. Spray the hole with water and add mycos to the hole. Then spray the rootball and add mycos all over the roots, and plop into the newly formed hole. I use square pots at first so I couldn't really roll them, but that's a cool idea.
